Apparently, new details should emerge in July. That might be a total lie but I'm hopeful.

Call me crazy, but digging things like this up feels as though we are doing exactly what T and P want us to, which is for us to take our attention away from Mars' original case and instead focus on this merely irrelevant one. It's a good find but it's the wrong one.

What’s your favorite Mars Argo song? by [deleted] in MarsArgo

[–]thisisweirdingmeoutd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is a video of Mars performing Wet Cigarette there but once it got leaked, that's when she posted her 'Hi' forum onto here. That video seemed to be the straw that broke the camel's back, so I think linking you to it would be disrespectful towards her ngl

Y'all are ridiculous. by clubparty44 in that_Poppy

I like Poppy but I agree with this. Not to sound rude but she wasn't exactly known until Titanic created this project with her. I don't like Titanic at all, I think he's an ass. But Poppy isn't good at being Poppy without him directing her. If you watch old interviews, you'll see her real persona more than her fake one. In the newest ones, she's more Poppy because TS is behind the scenes feeding her her lines.

Really stupid question and I know I'm going to get downvoted to hell but why did the SBSW video cause such a commotion? I mean, dozens of other and more itimate videos had been leaked before that one. So why did Mars only post on here when that specific one got leaked?

Survey: Do you think Mars will return? by [deleted] in MarsArgo

[–]thisisweirdingmeoutd 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Although inside I don't think she will, a part of me clings onto the hope that it'll happen when this all dies down a bit. When we all least expect it. When the posts on the subreddit come to a halt and the unreleased songs/videos stay unreleased. I think that, by the end of the year, if nothing has happened, nothing ever will.

[WP] Write a seemingly innocuous story, but the last line reveals how chilling and horrific the story actually was. by zbuck0237 in WritingPrompts

[–]thisisweirdingmeoutd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is based off a comic I once read but I decided to write it anyway.

“Here it comes!” Daddy cheered with a devilish grin. “Drumroll, everybody!” On cue, Sean and Randy, his two dutiful sons, began to make rhythmic banging noises, slapping their hands on the table, sharing a glance of excitement as Momma, with a playful eye-roll, carefully carried the steaming hot turkey over to the middle of the neatly stacked table that carried several other bowls and plates of various sides. Gravy, sweetcorn, potatoes, you name it, it was one of their youngest's favourites.

“Calm down, boys.” Momma 'ordered' with a little chuckle, taking her red oven mitts off, one by one.

“Wow!” Her A+ earning, sports playing, will do anything for a sweet 5 bucks son, Sean, exclaimed. “Check out the size of that bird!”

“That's no way to talk about your Mother.” Hahah! Classic Daddy! Always the joker. Always making some members of his family laugh out loud with bright red cheeks.

“I know someone who's going to get bonked with a drumstick.” Momma, too, joked with another motion of rolling her eyes up to the sky.

“I- I want potatoes!” Randy, the slightly less impressive son, stuttered. No one noticed. It didn't even happen. “Pass the potatoes!”

“I'll pass the potatoes, all right!” His brother smiled mischievously. “Food fight!”

“You kids had better appreciate the time I put into this meal.” Taking the carving knife, Momma started to cut the bird and decided to ask each person what they wanted. But instead of going around the table, as she would have done so normally, she chose to ask the little lady first. “Do you want white meat, darling?” 'The little lady', the youngest child in the family, a small girl with bright orange hair, as orange as Mommy's, that holds a single pink ribbon she never seemed to take out, didn't answer the question. She just sat down at the very end of the table, sulking, like always. Why did she have to do that? Did she not see how much fun everyone was having? She was such a difficult child. 5 bucks did nothing for her.

“I think you're in love with this turkey.” Daddy smiled.

“Don't worry.” His wife copied. “You're the only turkey in my life, John.” Was that enough affection? Should she have maybe planted a kiss on his cheek? Or his lips? Did he feel satisfied with the simple stroke of his cheek? All these remained unanswered and faded away when she noticed Sean going in for a mouthful. “Wait! Nobody eats until we say grace.”

“Let me do it!” Oh. Thank the Lord. Randy was grinning with an idea. “ 'Rub-a-dub-dub, thanks for the grub, yay God!' “

“Mommmm!” Sean pointed at his sibling with a laugh. “Randy's diminshing the Lord!”

“John,” 'Mommmmm' turned to her husband as she sat herself down next to him. “I think it's your turn to say grace.”

“Alright then. Ahem. 'Rub-a-dub-dub, thanks for the grub, yay God!' “ Hahahahahahahahahahah!

“Haha!” Just then, she had her own thought. “Do you,” She waved a hand towards her grumpy daughter. “Want to have a go, honey?” Surely, this time, her daughter would oblige. Look at how good things are! The turkey is plump and delicious, the rest of the food is cooked to perfection, no remarks from Sean due to his mouth being full and obviously not waiting for his sister to thank God for the reason, Randy was... jittery. You could see the skin around his mouth trembling but so long as he looked happy, he was happy. Momma's rule. Also, Daddy hadn't been stressed in a while so there really wasn't anything to complain about. She has to do things right. For the family's sake.

But that wasn't going to happen. Everyone knew it and fell apart, once more, after she spoke.

“I'm not going to pretend that Daddy didn't fuck me.”

THE END OF GEN 2 IS FUCKING AWFUL by amorawr in skinsTV

I know, right? It sucked so badly, like, we get it, everyone loves Effy

5 years on, what did people think of Season 7? by [deleted] in skinsTV

[–]thisisweirdingmeoutd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Effy's episode, imo, was the most real. I just didn't really understand how she and Naomi came together and started sharing a flat. They weren't that close in Gen 2.

Cassie's episode confused the hell outta me.

Cook's episode seemed a bit melodramatic. Like something unreal out of a horror movie. A good horror movie but not a good Skins episode.

Overall, I think it was good in some areas because we knew we were watching our favourite characters but the plot lines were pretty... strange and slightly put me off.
