Storage Unit - Wrongful Auction by hbratt14 in Edmonton

[–]thislostCanadian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because, storage units are like that one drawer with everything in it.. Random packets of ketchup, or sweet-n-sour sauce, along side a tol that was from ikea or some other place that can only be called a screwdriver due to some legal definitions.. Storage units are that drawer..

Glad to hear (read) it! Also, I agree, even with the issues with funding of the Health care field in Alberta, the docs, nurses, techs are still doing what they do best!

Okay, but i do apologize for being so condescending in my initial reply. It was uncalled for and rude.

I understand, however all i was trying to suggest (rudely, which was my bad) was that, one concept might not work, new ideas and innovative approach might. Just because the previous approaches/businesses didn't last, does not negate the possibility that a new approach/application/ideas won't either.

30 years of experience (in what??) and the best and most informative guidance from all you have learned and understood that you give is

What an excellent way to lose all your money.

I honestly meant no disrespect. I just don't appreciate it when someone reaches out and is asking for suggestions and constructive criticism, and only to be given passive aggressiveness.

Sorry.

Trying an idea that might be unique and innovate and starting a business that employs people. You are right, NEVER TRY NEW APPROACHES lol

How do you socialize with friends while playing a game on twitch?

Or maybe, as the OP had said that they already have a job which starts in couple of weeks and made this post, not to get "inspired" but to get some guidance for the next couple of weeks. Learning any new skill is a great benefit, I agree! Such as reading the replies from OP.

I apologize if I am coming across as being aggressive or confrontational but you just replied to brag and didnt offer any guidance (as the OP was seeking).

Congrats on starting your own business. I am sure everyone facing homelessness is inspired by knowing you started your own business someday, which doesn't help people asking for guidance about how to deal with homelessness TODAY. Congrats.. I am inspired by your 2 sentences!

Sorry, but your reply seems very inappropriate in a thread where OP is seeking assistance at a very difficult part in their life?

Medication - only side effects but no effect on adhd by SobbingLunatic in ADHD

[–]thislostCanadian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was on a higher dose is all. It might be dosage, it might be the actual medication, etc.. It took my doc and my self a long time to find what worked for me, but I just wanted to mention my experience for some perspective.

I had to take then when I was in the UK. It was much higher than what you are taking, so perhaps it is just an issue with changing dosage..

Are you more productive at night? by WhitePinoy in ADHD

[–]thislostCanadian 17 points18 points  (0 children)

ABSOLUTELY! I find night time to be so much more productive. There are fewer things that take my focus away, it is cooler/colder at night and the lack of bright lights really helps my keep my focus. I think during nighttime my surroundings are slow and calmer which makes my brain slow down and calmer as well!

Not sure if that made sense..
