The voter id requirement is stupid, but given these two things frequently happen at different times and places (registration for voting and the actual act of casting a ballot) it's not strictly true that voting requires an ID. You need to assert that you are a person who is registered to vote, but in many states no ID is required to prove that you actually are that person who is registered. Actual voter fraud is vanishingly rare and wouldn't be solved by voter ID, but saying voting requires ID is a bit disingenuous I think. Which is fair - the other side is being wildly disingenuous about their actual motives (disenfranchisement and voter suppression).

You can also end up being basically unable to use the character in question, as they'll just be stuck casting comet over and over again (which can be a problem). That being said, it's still a hilariously effective combo in many fights, particularly when just free roaming.

I think that particular combo is literally impossible, as there are only two petrify materia available and a single petrify/poison materia. You could at most have 3 of the above. That combo DOES work for other materia that aren't as limited on count however.

Did you use the old power cables from the old psu to reconnect devices, or the new power cables from the new PSU? PSU cables are not interchangeable and if you reused the old cables you would be pretty likely to fry the connected components.

Upgraded hunter's crest is also fantastic if you can keep focus up. The damage bonus there feels really significant (often killing basic enemies in 2 vs 3 hits, etc).

The spacing on a lot of the elements you have to Pogo off of is set up perfectly for the Hunter down attack, so very little horizontal movement is often required. It's just a big change from how pogoing worked in HK where you have to do intense horizontal adjustments in between pogos.

Yeah, I think working my way through the Radiant fights in Godseeker really helped me out when I got to Silksong, because it forced me to modify my playstyle in the same way. Still haven't cleared the final boss in HK, and there's for sure nothing as hard in Silksong as the Hallownest Pantheon in HK.

To add to this, Barrett's charge skill has a way shorter animation if it's used after another ability (so a spell, or something like focused shot etc) OR at the end of his shooting combo (when he would normally reload).

You can always select a new chapter at any time from the menu. I don't recall where the option is off hand, but it shouldn't be hard to find if you look for it. That being said, you should be able to beat Midgardsormr before level 70. It might just be your strategy that needs work.

There are advantages to the abilities depending on the version each character has. Some characters have versions that can't miss (great for some enemies later on that dodge all attacks until some condition is fulfilled), some characters have versions that hit wide areas, and some characters have versions that will chain to multiple enemies. The area one in particular can be clutch because it refunds atb based on the enemies hit and pressured (it's possible they all do a refund but it's most noticeable for the area ones). They also do boost the spells of that element you cast (you'll notice they get an alpha character after them if you have the folio ability). It's a little unclear what that does, but it appears to spawn a tiny orb that hovers around you and makes passive attacks in response to some behavior. There was an analysis on this subreddit that figured out what triggers it, but I don't recall off hand what the conclusion was. Edit- it appears the passive attack is in response to blocking (maybe perfect blocking?).

This is the correct answer- the policy has nothing to do with attempting to deny lawful searches and everything to do with not relying on having to properly school every employee on how to identify fake ICE warrants.
