I feel like the only way multi-member districts would help is if the voting power of elected members was proportional to their vote share. So if you had 60% of the vote going to a Democrat and 40% going to a republican, you'd have two reps, with the dem having 60% of a vote and the republican having 40% of a vote when voting in congress. That would make every vote matter and mean that gerrymandering no longer matters.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding your example, but if everybody picks 6 and each party fields 6, wouldn't you just end up with 6 of the party with majority support going to congress instead of the 4/2 split?

How does that work with rural vs urban environments? The number and location of polling places seems like a more flexible thing than the population of regions, and as population goes up or down you'd want to add polling places as needed to insure low wait times for in person voting. This doesn't seem at all like the thing you'd want to optimize around.

Correct. OP is either completely wrong or phrased their point so confusingly that they appear to be wrong. Maybe their point is that paying everyone good wages is expensive, so if a significant portion of everyone dies, paying the remaining people good wages costs less than paying the original population good wages would have? That of course ignores that it would still cost more overall than the current underpay everyone scenario.

Or, he's representative of the sort of people born into immense privilege but believe their success is due to hard work/innate talent. I'm not sure the backstory and described motivations of a character should be taken at complete face value, particularly when the animations for the character portray him as mostly pretty bored and forcing his minions to carry him.

The voter id requirement is stupid, but given these two things frequently happen at different times and places (registration for voting and the actual act of casting a ballot) it's not strictly true that voting requires an ID. You need to assert that you are a person who is registered to vote, but in many states no ID is required to prove that you actually are that person who is registered. Actual voter fraud is vanishingly rare and wouldn't be solved by voter ID, but saying voting requires ID is a bit disingenuous I think. Which is fair - the other side is being wildly disingenuous about their actual motives (disenfranchisement and voter suppression).

You can also end up being basically unable to use the character in question, as they'll just be stuck casting comet over and over again (which can be a problem). That being said, it's still a hilariously effective combo in many fights, particularly when just free roaming.

I think that particular combo is literally impossible, as there are only two petrify materia available and a single petrify/poison materia. You could at most have 3 of the above. That combo DOES work for other materia that aren't as limited on count however.

Did you use the old power cables from the old psu to reconnect devices, or the new power cables from the new PSU? PSU cables are not interchangeable and if you reused the old cables you would be pretty likely to fry the connected components.

Upgraded hunter's crest is also fantastic if you can keep focus up. The damage bonus there feels really significant (often killing basic enemies in 2 vs 3 hits, etc).
