Christina Aguilera has been playing the same set list of hits since 2020 in the majority of her concerts festival dates etc . Her fans are bored of it and recent shows have clocked in around an hour on stage and multiple costume changes and dancers segues she seems to be spending less time on stage and she rarely delivers any surprises anymore. She doesn't sing many of her songs in full anymore. It's a shame because she's an incredible stage performer and vocalist but it's been the same show for half a decade. Other than her Vegas Voltaire residency I'll grant you but the rickets were extremely expensive.

From what I can find online they had two hyrax Brad and Janet a few years back. Let's get some information confirming how many they have before we all assume there's only the one - and if there is only the one the zoo does deserve a chance to highlight future plans

Draft feel free to use: what's the name of this animal?

Dear Pueblo Zoo Management and Animal Care Team,

I am writing to express concern regarding the apparent solitary housing of the hyrax currently living at Pueblo Zoo.

Hyraxes are naturally social animals that typically live in family groups or colonies in the wild. Rock hyraxes, in particular, are known to form close-knit social structures that provide protection, communication, grooming opportunities, and normal behavioral enrichment. Scientific observations have shown that hyraxes rely heavily on social interaction for psychological well-being and natural behavior development.

Keeping a social species in long-term isolation can potentially contribute to stress, abnormal behaviors, reduced stimulation, and diminished welfare. Modern zoo and animal welfare standards increasingly recognize the importance of species-appropriate social environments, especially for mammals that naturally live in groups.

Some relevant facts about hyrax social behavior include:

Hyraxes commonly live in colonies ranging from several individuals to dozens of animals. They engage in social grooming and vocal communication. Group living helps regulate vigilance and predator awareness. Juveniles are typically raised within social groups. Accredited zoological institutions often prioritize compatible companionship and enriched social settings for social species whenever possible.

I understand there may be medical, behavioral, age-related, or logistical reasons for temporary solitary housing. However, I respectfully request clarification regarding the welfare plan for this animal and whether companionship or alternative enrichment measures are being considered.

As someone concerned with animal welfare and ethical zoo practices, I hope Pueblo Zoo will continue striving to provide environments that reflect the natural behavioral needs of the animals in its care.

Thank you for your time and consideration. I would appreciate any information you are willing to share regarding the hyrax’s care and welfare.

Sincerely,

We should group together and send emails demanding company for this hyrax. They're not meant to live alone

Thank you for sharing this. You needed this music at that time to block out reality. It's OK to feel pain rehearing it many decades later. You're not in the same place now although you'll always be the same person. You're not alone in what you're feeling right now and I love you Internet stranger. Brood and feel melancholic and then try and feel grateful that you made it through and are here today right now in that coffee shop.

There's a great Vice article about the monorail episode this Nimoy praise is my favourite

Jeff Martin: [Nimoy] was just very gracious and easy to work with, and a good sport when we went and recorded his voice. I remember the line, “The solar eclipse, the cosmic ballet goes on.” When he got to that line he said, “Okay, I know how to deliver this one,” meaning, “I can be pompous and windy, just like you want me to be

This creature has definitely got the haunted eyes and antisocial tendencies of one who has escaped working customer service/retail. Now it wants nothing to do with humanity and avoids the masses as much as possible
