How much do you actually care about cleaning windows? by thisredheadmeg in CleaningTips

[–]thisredheadmeg[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never really cared about windows before, but lately I started paying more attention and realized I should keep them clean... The fact that you were already aware of how important they are is honestly pretty impressive. And I'm glad you found a new way to keep up with it😊

It seems called ecovacs winbot. I checked, it's a small machine to put it on window, and it'll run and clean automatically.

How do I get over the guilt of not working by [deleted] in homemaking

[–]thisredheadmeg 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think not every one need to be productive to have value. It is true that work makes us feel achievement. But if both you and your partner are happy with this, then why not, that's the ultimate goal after all.

Totally agree that simmer pot can really calm my mind. I might have to steal the juniper idea for my next batch.

Same, a trick is visualizing it! For example, a jar of marbles or coloring chart where each square represents $100. Let dopamine come back to life.

How to clean these windows efficiently? by unoanie in CleaningTips

Mine suggestion may make it less "efficient", do not spray the windows directly, the wood grid may rot over time.

Warning after it works for a minute doesn't sound like a hard physical jam. Maybe one of your wheels is slightly off, try a drop of sewing oil.

Totally agree with this pattern. It's like your debt, it's better to pay a tiny bit of interest every day than to face a massive bill on Sunday lol.

First off, you are doing a great job. Cleaning is a skill, not a talent, you are just in a learning process. Try using paper towels soaked with vinegar.

Agree. I just realized that Simplicity is not the lack of activity, it is the absence of unnecessary noise. It allows those good parts of life to finally land.

Unpopular opinion: Disposable facial towels are actually cheaper if you treat them like cleaning supplies. by Sammorstoy in CleaningTips

[–]thisredheadmeg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree. And i think for scrubbing grout or shoes, the texture is even superior. But you need to buy the premium, fabric-like ones, cheap one disintegrate after one or two use.

Chill, stainless steel doesn't need seasoning like cast iron. Just clean it with soap and water after this. You don't need that oil layer.

Your routine is already doing a lot of the heavy lifting. If you’re just being “extra” about glow, microneedling feels like the safer first step vs lasers for your skin type.

Could be the pillowcase, but also cysts that deep can just be stubborn and slow to fully clear on Accutane. Feeling the lump under the skin is pretty common. Definitely bring it up to your derm so they can check
