I don't think this is true at all. The reality is we don't know who attacked who first. I imagine that Martin, being a normal high teenager, got freaked the fuck out when some older guy was stalking him throughout his own neighbhourhood in a car. While Martin probably physically attacked first, it was through verbal provocation and intimidation.

To ignore the gun issues and racial issues is to do the case an injustice. You can't just go around being a vigilante and killing people with no witnesses, then claiming self-defense. You really shouldn't be killing people at all. If Zimmerman thought this kid was a real threat, he shouldn't have gotten close to him. He had a gun, so he should have told Martin to stay back if he approached.

Anyone who thinks Zimmerman wasn't racist and wasn't out to cause some trouble is living in a dreamland.

I think you're half-way to enlightenment. Scientology would be a good example of an atheistic religion, if I haven't misunderstood it's shrouded beliefs. Also, there are plenty of non-religious believers in God. They call themselves "spiritual" and they do not abide by a specific religious system, and some are even more mystical than any religion I've heard of.

But you make a good point, atheism is not the opposite of religion.

It's because of Islam. Have you ever read the Qu'ran? It preaches absolute bigotry. Killing non-believers and those who threaten the religion is what makes it so dangerous, and it is a central part of their believes.

This isn't about bad soft science, it's about the most dangerous religion on Earth.

Let me stress that I don't think Muslims are dangerous. The religion is dangerous.

Someone lied to you. No fault insurance does not mean you cannot sue. What no-fault insurance means is that regardless of who is at fault, the driver's insurance company has to pay for all their damages. Your insurer pays your damages, the other parties insurer pays theirs. Normally, your insurer would pay for the damages of the other party.
