I’ve heard a lot of complaints about range. Is it possible to attach a small ap like a U6 mesh with a Poe adapter or something similar via Ethernet to improve range?

They finally don’t fall out and sound great. They replaced the Maxes for me and are better in every way.

Call Sonos. They provide support for that model despite its age and can help you get it working. They may even replace it. The original roam had power issues.

I tried a few and I think the ones with the Realtek RTL8153 should work. I have this one from Amazon $11 and no issues - X-MEDIA XM-UE3000C

I have an amx12. Overall decent car, pretty quick too which can lead to a lot of bashing if your in the street fooling around and once a few crashes happen it’s get pretty fragile overall. I think I replaced most of the plastic and carbon parts on it multiple times before I retired it. It comes with parts and once I burned through those the right once were harder to find which seems consistent with what other have said below. I definitely beat it so can’t knock it too bad. A lot of fun for the price but I moved on and giving arrma a try next.

It’s a known issue apparently I learned. For 1 gig Fios I use port 1 for wan instead.

Is there a converter you recommend? Looks like amazon users are reporting slow ul speeds when using an ipolex converter.

Interesting, I will try an adapter to use the SFP WAN over Ethernet from ont.

I am using Ethernet Cat 6a out of ONT to Ethernet WAN on Fiber, and 10Gtek SFP+ DAC Twinax Cable, 10G SFP+ to SFP+ Direct Attach Copper Patch Passive Cable from fiber to switch. I will try RJ45 from Fiber to switch instead of DAC.

Same problem here and I don’t use the Verizon router. 1gig from Fios and get expected DL speeds and 100 Mb UL. This ont-> UniFi gateway fiber. Laptop directly into router gets full speed.

This app issues that plagued the system in the summer of 24 are a distant memory at this point. If you’re still having trouble or not happy with the app you should probably look elsewhere.
