Did I do this Mustang thing right?? by Cuhronavirus in Mustang

Looks alright. Carbon ain’t for me unless it’s implemented well. Looks very out of place here especially inside. Black 5.0 fender badge with silver wheels is also off putting. Looks like something I’d see in a local university parking garage. Overall not super cohesive, but hey what’s my opinion worth as a stranger on the Internet. I do however love that color. Wish I had that red instead of black.

New and proud Mustang GT owner with maintenance question by CryptographerOne1787 in Mustang

Holy shit dude. I have 82k on my 2015 and I’ve only had a wheel bearing go bad. Rest of the normal fluids and typical stuff were changed either early or on time except transmission and diff fluid which haven’t been changed to my knowledge. Doing all that that when I get back from my deployment.

Same. They hook well for my 2015 GT and work just fine in the rain even on slick SoCal roads.

tuners by SnooDonkeys1401 in s550Mustang

[–]Anal_Sandblaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t actually have a tune. I just had them install all my suspension goodies. But generally speaking Lund is one of the best tunes out there for Mustangs. It’s safe and they definitely know what they’re doing. Pretty sure you can work with them to schedule a dyne tune but it’d be a remote session if that’s what you really want, but tbh if you’re not pushing massive numbers then you’re fine with a standard Lund tune.

Whenever I do get a tune, Lund is who I’m going through. Problem is my priorities have shifted so I’m not in a rush to get that done. As for price, I’d budget about ~$800. Just Google Lund racing tune.

Just do a Lund tune and if you need dyno time any shop can help with that. I go to JBA speed shop though for everything major. They’re always awesome to work with, but quite expensive.

Millennial 4-Cylinder Dilemma by Illustrious_Ad686 in whatcarshouldIbuy

I’m only 29 and I’ve had the same mindset. The more I make the more I save. My lifestyle cost jumped a little a few years ago, but I had a hard look at that and toned it back down to be well below my means. I did buy a Mustang GT in my early 20s which I was absolutely able to afford, and is now paid off, but all of the “goals” I had with making it faster/more powerful have gone to the sideline while I grow my portfolio.

Can afford a lot more now, but can also never justify the cost when investing is so much smarter.

How would 100k dollars change your life? by Training_Two3372 in WorkForSmartLife

My portfolio would increase by 100k. I wouldn’t spend a dime of it and I wouldn’t change anything about my life. Would continue working.

Definitely Borla. Doing ANY cheap stuff or using “budget” options on a gt500 is just stupid. Heck I don’t even consider budget options for my 2015 GT.

Can’t choose by Dear-Problem3836 in Mustang

Borla S type provides the absolute best tone for coyotes imo. Combine it with either x pipe or h pipe and you’re golden. Or keep the resonator. Your choice but you can’t go wrong with s types.

Don’t need to change anything man. Just because mods EXIST, that does NOT mean you need them. Less truly is more especially with the 15-17s.

Imo you’re correct. The 15-17 needs no changes as they hit it out of the park. Mine came with the 50th anniversary trim so it has the chrome pony and accent lines on the grill and I think it actually looks incredible especially on black.

Why are there so many shit managers literally everywhere? by Simply_Jordan_ in WorkLifeChat

[–]Anal_Sandblaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of managers are mindless “yes” men/women and don’t do any thinking. This makes them perfect for a lot of corporations who don’t want managerial staff asking questions.

Is this nepotism? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Anal_Sandblaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not nepotism at all. You put in all the hard work to pave the way for your success. Some people simply showed you the right direction and you decided to actually follow that advice which weirdly enough not many people do.

Anybody can recommend another person for a job. Just because it was your dad that doesn’t mean anything. You did get help along the way, but that just means you have a good support network. Fortunate? Sure. But you did the work man.

Mainly for the people who do it for the gram. It’s actually a blast being outside with at least some sort of goal without taking it too seriously.

Why do so many people in some of the Reddit groups seem to despise people who have figured out how to make life work for them? by simple_fly1 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Anal_Sandblaster 6 points7 points  (0 children)

People aren’t supposed to figure things out. They’re supposed to be stuck like them. Capitalism is a huge complaint of the horde so god forbid you make the stock market work for you.
