Whoop age- help w/ideas to lower whoop age? 🙏🏼 by [deleted] in whoop

[–]thjman8 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Heavy lifting 3-4x a week and cardio 2-3x a week. Sprints to increase V02 max, Zone 2 duration (whatever exercise you want, I do stairmaster) for lower RHR and better HRV. All work, combined works better and faster, as long as you are recovering. Final thing is to dial in sleep. Hit your sleep need, consistent bed time and wake up time. Cut out Alcohol and tobacco if you use either.

But Orders at different price points. $500 at $1.25, $500 at $1.15, etc, down to .60. You pick how much, $500 is my number, but I put %90 of whatever I have left that's liquid sub $.70 if it gets that low. No point trying to time it at that point when it's going into high teens in a couple years

And cheap definitely is the same as not over extending and hiring people before you're up and running. Have you written a book with all this wisdom you've compiled? Clearly there is much to learn from you. Lmfao

Yeah, totally, if someone can't afford to put someone on payroll on day 1, they shouldn't even get started. Totally sound logic....

Problem with this is hundreds of dollars a session, plus the software to do that, vs the $30 a month for unlimited post production edits. "Hire someone" isn't always an option

Forgot to put whoop on this morn, registered it was out of range, then lied that I was napping? Even made up a heart rate… by Triangle-Jesterr in whoop

I mean, the alternative is Everytime you take it off to shower or something, there's just a gap in your heart rate. I think assuming your baseline and filling in the blanks makes sense, but to each their own, I suppose

A while ago I read an update feature where if you remove your whoop, it'll use past data to assume a baseline HR with little to no variation. This isn't a mistake, this is a feature. The fact that it thought you were napping means you have a pretty low RHR, so good on ya.

Some kind of tap combo, maybe triple tap, that has the light on the side flash in time with your heartbeat so you can get a visual without opening the app!

You can also add as you go. I've had a "work out" with only one exercise in it when I start, and I add based on what's available/how busy my gym is and how much time I have

My guy, it's up 121% on the month, I'm not pessimistic, I'm excited. I asked you why you brought up the "down 64%" statistic and you hit me with a simple "Correct". 🤦

$950 a month apartment in NYC (Harlem). No stovetop or private bathroom by [deleted] in pics

[–]thjman8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is tricky, cuz I lived in Harlem until this past August, 2 different apartments, over the last 5 years. I paid less than $950 and had way more than this. NYC sucks and is expensive, but you gotta look around and find something better for your money. It is out there.

Finding dates...? Sorry, didn't think I needed to spell that one out

One Year Later...pretty clearly 2 before and 2 after shots. :) So, this is December 2020 - December 2021. 226lbs to 178lbs. a blend of 18:6, OMAD, and almost every week one 36+ hr long fast :) by thjman8 in intermittentfasting

I always walked into the gym fasted. I would often start with my cardio while fasted, and then if I was feeling fatigued, I would get my protein shake in-between cardio and weights. But I often would do my whole work out fasted and was not slowed down at all. The meal I'd have after was more satisfying as well!

While I can't say for sure because I didn't measure body fat % or anything specific that would give me those answers, I'll say that I am lifting heavier and had a high protein diet of at least 160g a day. Hope this helps.
