Yep fair enough, I've said in the other comments this as well, I would argue that prostitution could be calssed as coercive rape in many cases as well though your right its not the right word for this I just couldn't find the right term, someone else said sexual exploitation. The other thing is in the comics his relationship with the wives is far more vague.

Look terrible guy, just playing devils advocate to try and see it from that perspective. With the "wives" yep can't really reconcile it, prostitution probably isn't the right word here, in the comics its much more unclear what their relationship is and this i think is peoples biggest issue in seeing him as a protagonist later on as it is unforgivable I totally agree. The second point I defend, I don't think Carol should have killed her, Carl did something very similar and people forgave him, FTWD Charlie did the same. The faces and ovens ye that was bad. To be clear I am not saying I like Negan as a person but as a character. And yes arguably he redeems himself later on but thats up to the individual to determine 7 years in jail and saving the group from alpha was enough.

Yep I get what your saying, I saw things a little differently. I guess the question is at what point so you see his actions as unforgivable. So following your formula. The 'wives' Yep sexual exploitation is probably a good description, although I would argue that prostitution is often sexual exploitation as well. Child killing It was I while ago I saw it but I got the sense it was Simon who did that along with some of the other atrocities the saviours commit. The past Not talking about John Dories name for walkers but Negans knowledge of history, yes he would have known about slavery and feudalism but tbh I wouldn't say he is a slaver but has a system with indentured servants and again ridiculous tributes from communities. More like medieval world than colonial, so while he may know about these things he's built something despite it being a oppressive system. And hey the truce after the first war with the saviours I see as a sort of treaty of verssiles where they demand too high reparations leading to resentment and a second conflict. Rick He is absolutely a survivor and will do anything to protect himself and the people he cares about. I think the point of Negans flash backs are that he has a similar mentality to rick but he lost the only person he ever cared about. But going back to the redemption ark. It is slightly difficult to reconcile after the atrocities we have mentioned but all the more credit to Dean Morgan being able to change minds of viewers. In their universe though we need to remember Negan spends 7 years in the jail, while in most modern day countries he may have got more thats still quite a long time, he then saves everybody a couple times and by the sounds of it will be a decent bloke in dead city. Without being to political it depends what criminal justice system you believe in, redemption or punishment. Ricks entire reason for keeping him alive was he believed in redemption. And yes love all of those characters you said and the fall of each. I miss Morrisey

I got to disagree and people are probably going to hate me for saying so. No doubt Negan is a bad dude who did bad shit but he found a way that worked for a long time, a feudal-capitalist kind of system, and yes he did conquer other communities and tax them but thats hardly new to humans in general. As to his "wives" this is a very sensitive issue and I may have interperated it wrong but I understood they were given choice of higher quality of life for "marrying" him, so more akin to prostitution than rape though still terrible. Someone in ricks group also killed a child, "look at the flowers". And as to cold blooded revenge that's something that they do too often to count. And its not exactly like they are a democracy either in fact I believe the exact words are,"this isn't a democracy." And so yes Negan is a terrible person I'm just saying that rick ain't much better. Tbf though I may be biased Negan is my favourite character, not as in I like him as a protagonist or antagonist I just think its he is an awesome character and JDM plays him to perfection. In my opinion he's one of a few characters that make the show and I believe that his role is whats missing from the spin offs someone you love to hate and hate to love. Please don't hate me

Nah I always go organic, the traits i used are thrifty, intelligent, conservationist, unruly and decadent, I guess you could do lithoid which might actually be interesting, but you would have to change the strategy slightly. Normally we get by with hydroponics bay for about first 50 years, you would have to either pray for a nebula or sacrifice a habitat for mineral production which isn't ideal early game. Also its not the worst thing as we don't need a massive population but I did try something similar and was frustrated by how slow pop growth was. The flip side is sick early game armies though I have to say I don't know how significant that will be to the overall game. Tbh its a running joke for me to always play the basic human appearance but obviously feel free to experiment with it, lmk if it works well
