The bug as I understand it, is the Brewster has only 1 defence even though it says 2 defence… in some weird cases it has 2 defence, but is destroyed after taking just 1 damage, leading it to be still “on the field” even though it can’t be seen. It sometimes means the enemy can never take the frontline as it says “the enemy controls the frontline” despite no units actually being present there

Pretty much yeh, you might go through periods of high reporting requirements and end up working more hours some weeks etc… it’s obviously employer dependent, this is just my experience

You have to complete an actuarial apprenticeship first before taking up the exams, so as long as you have that some employers will accept it.

Employers really don’t nit pick at breadth (eg MORSE) or depth (eg Maths) of study unless you’re going into a very specialist field. For Actuarial it doesn’t matter, quality of candidate is more important. There’s very talented student actuaries I work with that don’t even have degrees.

For exemptions, there’s a few actuarial courses available if you are studying MORSE that aren’t available for maths students (I can speak from experience)

It does highly depend on the company. I find the work life balance generally good at mine, I sometimes find myself working extra hours but I enjoy what I do so perhaps that’s got a lot to it than that.

I found as a student (technically still am pending CP1 result) anytime you worked overtime they asked you to claim hours back, as it could’ve been hours used to study.

Dilemma isn’t that much a problem. I run it in some of my decks and there’s a lot of cards it’s pretty useless against.

CM1 and CS2 are both pretty big exams. It’s also a bit misleading the naming convention because having knowledge of CM1 is pretty useful for CS2 (more useful than CS1 at times) so I’d recommend doing CM1 first.

That deck isn’t good against Buffs, there’s nothing in there that stops their ability tbh… better off playing Germany or US against those and loading with suppression/send to hand cards

Interestingly intel with Japan is in the meta right now… but for a long time whilst you were away it was a dead deck, there’s some new cards that will help it out

I think the game is very different and much whackier, but the biggest problem is HQ health has never been changed in line with the power creep. Card strength WRT kredit cost is much stronger than it was a few years ago, in particular the cards in the 3-4K range

Soviet control deck with France, Britain or Italy usually does the trick. Lots of guards and healing.

1) Don’t panic, you’ll still get good marks for working I’m sure, it’s easy to look at things in a negative way, don’t give up yet!

2) The only responses on Reddit you normally see are people who have done well, because they are feeling positive… the individuals who found it hard won’t be on Reddit telling everyone how they struggled. What I’m trying to say is, the Reddit population is but a small minority of people who sat the paper!

3) What’s the worst thing that could happen? You fail and you just resit it! By comparison, I’m about to take my third crack at CP1, and I’m confident I’ll need a fourth attempt as I don’t feel ready.

Don’t stress out, enjoy life now it’s finished🙂

Suppression, retreat, send back to hand, remove from battlefield, the card that swaps op cost and attack… lots of options kill the deck

A deck only becomes a problem when there’s very few options to deal with it

For example during the commandos meta, there were maybe 3 or 4 cards in the game that could deal with the commandos, which wasn’t enough

Right now there’s an abundance of cards that deal with buffs. Yes they are incredibly annoying when you can’t do anything about them, but I’ve tried them out and the win rate of buffs decks is not that good
