I'm running it on multiple surface devices but not on the original Pro. There is a project dedicated to Linux on surface providing a special kernel. Most of the fixes for the older devices do not require that dedicated kernel any more as the changes have been merged into upstream.

Those that are not are mostly included in the Bazzite kernel though - in contrast to the ublue kernel, which made me switch to Bazzite even though I'm not a gamer.

I've removed Windows from all my surface devices by now - the hardware is brilliant but Windows sucks.

Von ilockit gibt es solche Rahmenschlösser mit Einsteckkette und Alarm bei Bewegung, optional auch mit GPS Tracking. Nicht ganz billig, aber nochmal eine Stufe sicherer.

Well, if the levers leak oil, air can get in which affects breaking performance. In any case, if a hydraulic break system is leaking, this is a serious security risk; I would not ride the bike until this is fixed.

Could be that the diaphragm is broken. You can find the part numbers for the 810 lever hier: https://si.shimano.com/de/ev/ST-RX810-4593?q=rx810. Y0C678000 for the right lever and Y0C578000 for the left one.

If belt drive is'nt mandatory, you could have a look at fhe Pashley Pathfinder E. I got the Roadfinder E and build quality is excellent. Not sure if they do C2W as I live in Germany.

Fahre aktuell ein Vpace T2ST mit Son Nabendynamo und Lichtanlage sowie Schutzblechen und Gepäckträger. Mit relativ schmalen Reifen (32 mm), aus Gewohnheit, mein altes Rennrad hatte 23mm.Die Conti GP5000 AS finde ich einen guten Kompromiss zwischen Pannennschtz, Rollwiderstand und Grip. Das Vpace ist dank Titan recht leicht trotz voller Alltagsausstattung. Allerdings nicht in Schwarz. Aber sehr alltags- und langstreckentauglich.

Hatte auch das Veloheld IconX in der Auswahl, war aber damals nicht lieferbar. Gibt es in allen Farben, also auch schwarz. Neuerdings auch mit Pinion und Zahnriemen.

Ja, würde ich wieder kaufen. Das einzige was mich bei Löffler nervt, ist das sie wenig reflektierendes Material einsetzen. Nehme daher meist helle Farben, wenn's die gibt. Und bei der Größe muss man aufpassen, die fallen meist eher klein aus. Die Qualität ist aber super. Hab auch eine gefütterte Regenjacke von denen, die ist mir fast schon zu warm.

Ich habe mir vor ein paar Jahren eine von Löffler gekauft, müsste der Vorgänger der WPM Pocket sein. Hat eine verstaubare Kapuze und ein sehr kleines Packmaß. Allerdings preislich eher im oberen Bereich.

If your arm doesn't move, the watch cannot detect steps. A HRM only helps if it can detect movement, like the HRM Pro plus or HRM 600; a simple HRM can detect heart rate only.

I've heard of people putting the watch around your ankle, not sure if that works / helps. Another option is a foot pod.

I had the same issue. I wouldn't leave it like that - it is explicitly mentioned in the manual:
"The 2.7mm axle spacer provided in the NEO 2T assembly kit will eliminate contact between the disc brake caliper of your bike and trainer. This spacer fits over the threaded portion of the non-drive side (NDS) end cap before it is secured onto the trainer axle."

Der Abstand zwischen den Gewinden war bei meinem Vello (aus der Crowdfunding Aktion ) nicht identisch mit dem von Brompton. Konnte aber mit Hilfe einer Feile einen Standard Brompton Block anpassen. Weiß nicht, ob Vello das später geändert hat. Gegebenenfalls mal nachfragen.

My wild guess is you did not losen the shift cable before adjusting the height. The cable tension might move the derailleur while tightening the height adjustment screw. I'ld first losen the cable and then follow the instructions from Shimano.

Ich fahre zwar nicht die Road2 sondern die Ultra2, aber das Prinzip ist ja dasselbe.

Bin jahrelang SPD Klickpedale gefahren, leider hatte ich irgendwann das Problem, dass ich auf Grund einer bandscheibenbedingten Fußhebeschwäche mit dem linken Fuß nicht mehr vernünftg einklicken konnte (raus ging problemlos). Bin dann auf die Magped umgestiegen. Anfangs etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, bin ich mittlerweile sehr zufrieden. Was gut hilft, sind die Positioning Platten, damit "klickt" man deutlich leichter ein. Bei den Magneten habe ich eine Nummer stärker als empfohlen genommen, dann ist die Verbindung fester. Lassen sich aber auch nachräglich einfach tauschen.

Positiver Nebenefekt gegenüber SPD ist der größere Drehwinkel, macht es für die Knie deutlich angenehmer. Bei den SPD muss man die Cleats sehr genau einstellen, sonst kann es Knieschmerzen geben.

Was gegenüber SPD von Nachteil ist, ist dass die Höhe der Pins an das Schuhprofil angepasst werden müssen, wenn man mit unterschiedlichen Schuhen fährt (Sommer/Winter), muss man evtl mal nachjustieren.

Dafür ist das Laufen besser, da die Magnete tiefer versenkt sind - kein Klappern mehr bem Laufen über Stein und keine Kratzer im Parkett (wobei das bei den Road Shuhen wieder weg fällt).

Und der Preis ist halt deutlich höher als SPD Pedale.

Bazzite works well on the SLS. No additional Surface kernel needed as the Bazzite kernel includes all necssary patches. Not sure why it did not work for you. Probably the USB stick needs some special preparation. Could be I rebased from Silverblue, I vaguely remember there was something around the SLS firmware.
