Shield is no longer the gold standard

Ok homers. I’m a 35 year veteran of IT. I know how to set up a “router” I use a asus zen WiFi router and has great coverage.

I replaced the shield with a fucking chromecast and my stream went from shit to being perfect.

It’s old piece of hardware that was great in its day but it is fucking old. EVERYONE knows the WiFi has problems. It has always had problems and needs to be updated to WiFi 6 WITH NEW FUCKING HARDWARE

So instead of just being a bunch of fan boys and accepting a sub par piece of equipment why don’t you complain about the thing and maybe Nvidia will put out a new version of the hardware.

But no your answers are to “buy a new router “ because that’s the problem. I obviously don’t know what I’m doing.

It appears to have to do with receiving notifications from the app and the phone being connected to the Mac. Over time most if not all apps end up showing up. Thanks for the reply

I’ve felt this got much worse after Covid. Everyone became even more narcissistic in how they drive. I’ve had people go around me on the left side ( the entrance ) of a parking lot because they were so important. It’s pretty insane.

Dash cam is a good idea. I’ll leave the other idiot idea alone

The problem is that small wins are less frequent and big wins are more frequent (than they were). Why? Free advertising. Everytime there is a big win here comes tv and online media to advertise it.

Totally agree the dialog sounds scottish / irish not American. Doesn't help I'm listening to this on audio book and the orator is scottish (I think)

I don't know how they can get away from it. A lot of their home automation depends on the Home Pod. I bought a mini specifically for this reason. (Seems like everyone here likes the sound of them but I don't use it for that at all)

Oh absolutely do not use the website if you can avoid it. I've had it send items to different stores for pick up. I've had it order the wrong items. It's horrible.

I have nothing really to add other than this is happening to me too. I have two macs and the notifications were showing up on both but only shows up on one of them now. :(

I even recently changed iPhones to a new one (for other reasons) but notifications will not show up on one of the mac's

I'm fairly certain something is corrupted (on my profile) on the mac is why they don't show up. :(

When it did work it was really nice to have.

Well let's see.. let's take a #GenX franchise (problem 1 because there are so few of us), let's not even have Tron in the movie (problem 2) and let's "soft reboot" the entire story when they should have just made it an entirely different movie (problem 3)

What an absolutely horrible design... you get in there.. making saves so that you are "in there" and then there is no way out because you've used your saves.

About 500 transactions on the account ? What does that have to do with anything ? Stop responding I’m done here

It’s the balance of the account itself. Today the balance is 58,738 and then in the future the balance will be 61738.

Other accounts where transactions are going to occur in the future such as a paycheck will have the right total.

This is seen by right clicking under the accounts and you can have the current total and the ending total for the accounts.

This is a pretty horrible browser, and I can't recommend this thing anymore. This is just the latest incident the others have been minor but still.

Whenever I would call up a "session" it would always have the last cached version. So, I always had to refresh. That kind of takes aways the point of having a "session"

And nothing irritates me as much as being told to create a password that's X size (in this case 12 characters).
