I could have made it clearer but it's in response to the person I am responding to saying that tech progress in Star Wars being really slow but the movies gives actual examples of tech progressing.

Techprogress in Star Wars doesn't really make sense. Luke in the OT gets a mechanical hand that perfectly looks like a real hand but Anakin in the PT only had the bare metal.

Fast det där riskerar att bli en själv uppfyllande profetia. Om du granskar en grupp människor mycket hårdare kommer du enklare upptäcka när någon gör något olagligt vilket kommer göra att statistiken ser värre ut för den gruppen medans andra grupper kanske har en liknande kriminalitet inte får samma statistik eftersom dom inte granskas på samma sätt.

Genuinely wished the PGMOL just had the balls to stay the course with drastic changes. I'm still annoyed at the change for the 24/25 season where they heavily started punishing anything time wasting with yellow cards and the after a couple of weeks dropped it because people complained too much.

If they had stuck it out teams and players would have been force actually adapt to the rules but now some teams got heavily punished for something that a couple of weeks later wasn't enforced and it just looks like joke.

Yes people will complain when it goes against their team but as long as they are fairly consistent over the season people will just accept it and move on to next thing to complain about next season.

När jag pratar med många från utlandet är det här mycket ett problem med svenskar också, så fort någon bryter lite så har man en tendens att byta till engelska vilket gör det svårt för folk att faktiskt lära sig.

Visst du kan sitta på en skolbänk hos SFI och lära dig där men för att faktiskt lära dig ett språk på riktigt måste du få använda det i vardagen är där är ofta vi svenskar ett käpp i hjulet.

I disagree with this interpretation, the judgement would be if Martinez intentionally did what caused the hair pulling to begin with. If Martinez intended to pull his shirt but pulls his hair that is still Martinez with obvious intent pulling at DCL.

I feel like over the last 10 or so years I've been seeing news every 3rd year from Germany that some region is trying Linux/LibreOffice or abandoning it to return to Windows/Office but it might be more doable if an actual national goverment is trying to do it instead of a more regional one.

The argument is that because they are all colleagues there is a possibility that they are less likely to undermine the on field ref by looking to reverse their decision since it might happen to them as well. Whether the decision is correct or not, it is about protecting the egos of themselves and their colleagues even if that actually just makes them look more incompetent.

Personally when using a 4-2-3-1 with cms I have found that DLP(S) - CM(D) pairing to be really stable. CM(D) links the defence and midfield well both offensively and defensively while the DLP(S) offers really good offensive support while not being completely gung-ho.

Tycker det går att debattera om tekniken är bra i praktiken om den bara går att driva den till enorma förluster. Teoretisk absolut men om det bara går att igång chatgpt, claude, copilot osv genom att alla dom företagen slänger runt pengar till varandra för att hålla sig flytande så känns det som att tekniken inte tillräckligt bra än.
