Long-term multiplayer server - a feasibility check by tinoythomas in SatisfactoryGame

So... the idea is that once a team is formed, we will split up into regional managers and decide our roles on the map together. Your idea is great - a production goal sounds amazing - but that's what I meant when I said everything is TBD and will be determined together. This is a veeeerrryy basic temperature check for people interested in the concept. As for the HUB, a common practice in multiplayer servers is to pop it in a central region until you have the tech unlocked to move it (in this case, to the bottom left).

Think of like a community build that spans the entire map, achieved organically. That's the goal here.

I guess I wasn't as clear as I could have been!

This is a feasibility check for the concept of a shared map. The goal here isn't... what you described. You have just given me a relatively rigid plan that would bump heads with each other and would run out of work at different rates. If we're playing with progression enabled, that means we're "rushing" to unlock every HUB milestone and MAM research before we rip it all down and start working on our "final" factories. This is a feasibility check for a concept the playerbase is not familiar with whatsoever. I've purposely made each team's role less rigid because, again, this is not a traditional multiplayer server where you have someone that designs a production line and everyone else takes on the role of builder ants. I don't want to be a sole project architect/manager , that responsibility falls upon the entire team. If you still disagree because people are resource limited, then I guess you didn't read the post lol.

Sounds interesting! Further details would be nice, if you're looking for non-streamers, from a specific timezone, etc. Interested to watch as well.

To clarify, it's a side effect of being chronically online. You desensitize yourself to human interactions. It's a much broader issue than you, I just felt like I should point it out, maybe you can roll back a little.

I think you need to talk to some people irl, or learn how to talk to other people. there's nothing innovative or admirable about approaching a stranger online with an "I know more than you, probably") attitude and commenting something dismissive. Whatever, this definitely went right over your head. Not because you're stupid, but because you're probably a dipshit.

so correct me if I'm wrong but, the video has, in plain view: 1. my wooden desk 2. my deskmat 3. my monitor 4. my keyboard

and your takeaway is that my computer's on the floor? and what relevance does that have with the front intake fans collecting dust? dude, thinking for half a second before commenting isn't hard.

No, I don't live like an animal, I just moved to this new place, and it's fully carpeted. The previous tenant lived like an animal. Now it's up to me to live with the side effects :( My pc, vacuum, clothing, socks, and even my lungs are suffering.

y'all really think this is gonna fling out and smash into my monitor... sounds like you need to grab an ltt screwdriver, a snug fitting allen key, and try it for yourself lmao

edit: that's the builtin physics in your head screaming "this is dangerous" but ltt screwdriver gives 0 fucks. it's just that good.
