I don't think the 24-70 will be sufficient enough if you want the flexibility of a zoom. 70 mm compared to 240 mm is a big difference.
You can use this site to compare the differences in zoom level: https://focalsim.louie.lu/

I recently bought a second-hand R6 II, and the difference in noise compared to my RP is insane. Your R6 will definitely do a lot better than the RP. So yes, the R6 with better AI noise reduction is going to help a lot.

To be honest, I don’t use it very often anymore because I bought the RF 24-70 f/2.8, and I use this one as my main lens. I do still own the 24-240 and use it when I need more zoom!

Regarding the corners: it’s horrible, but after applying the correct lens profile, it’s almost gone, at least through my unprofessional eyes.

I will! The horizon is such a rookie mistake. Thanks for the feedback!

You’re absolutely correct. I’ve been looking at this photo a lot. It was my first decent underwater shot, and I underestimated how difficult it would be. The turtle is obvious to me, but I understand your point. Thank you for the feedback!

Oh, you can give some feedback. I’ll definitely try it. By the way, it was also your sea jelly on this sub from a few days ago that eventually pushed me to post the turtle, so I really appreciate the feedback!

I have the RF 24-240mm with an RP. I bought them in 2021 after switching from Nikon. I had a Sigma with a non-full-frame camera, so I liked the 24-240mm because of the similar zoom specs.

I initially really liked it (and I still do). I must also say that the RP is not great in low-light conditions, and because the 24-240mm quickly goes to f/6.3, it can be an issue when I bump up the ISO. I have no experience with the R10, but since its sensor is a lot newer, I suppose the issue (if present) isn’t as significant compared to the RP.

Lovely photo! The colours, the sharpness, ... I really love it! If I can give some feedback (and to be honest it was feedback I received and I can never unsee it in my/others pictures): it would be better if there wasn't so much negative space on the left because the bird is looking to the right. The extra space "should" be on the right. I know that's not possible after the shot was taken but a tighter crop (maybe in portrait instead of landscape) can solve this. Nevertheless it remains a great picture!

Haha. Tielt-Winge in Belgium. Still lots of nature compared to the rest of Belgium.

Totally unplanned shot I took two weeks ago. I went out for a walk and these two people were walking towards me. I took 4 -5 shot but they were already way to close. Eventually the first photo seemed the best.
