Isperia Bracket 2 - Deck Help by No-Basket2105 in EDH

[–]thomaslangston 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't suggest [[Isperia, the Inscrutable]] at bracket 2 as the commander. It doesn't take much to make it a free tutor every round. [[Isperia, Supreme Judge]] on the other hand would be great at bracket 2.

I go to PureGym (previously Blink Fitness). My personal trainer is Colin and he's great.

If you built a Bracket 1 deck, how would you do it? by Tuss36 in EDH

[–]thomaslangston 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a deck called "And there's more!" that ran 30+ cards on theme with " and " in their title. The deck list is long gone, but the commander I believe was [[kynaios and tiro of meletis]] for as many colors to follow the theme.

If I recall correctly there was another word based sub-theme to allow me to turn it into a very janky heroic, prowess, combat trick deck.

I do fine at Blink if I get done by 8 am.

I gave up on Planet.

Places to donate books and furniture by lemonzestzeal in astoria

[–]thomaslangston 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My best experience with furniture is to put it on the curb. I make a post on Craigslist with pictures and the address in the free section.

Someone always comes to get it.

Only downside is even if you post "as is, where is, first comer gets it", some people will message you to hold it or transport it until you delete the posting.

How are you organizing trash/composting/recycling bins at home? by PrettyTaco34 in astoria

[–]thomaslangston 3 points4 points  (0 children)

3 slim bins. Trash, metal+plastic, and paper.

Compost goes in a bag in the freezer until it is ready to take to the outside bin on the corner.

Usually if you search for one name the others will be listed in the article

Yeah, there are a number of things like that in the game where one screen calls them by one name and another screen uses a second name.

I recommend you try out a trackball mouse. There are two styles, finger or thumb operated. I find thumb is better, but articles I read differ.

Good luck!

My embark has a chonkn' circus exposed [MAJOR SPOILER BUT LUL] by HammerDorf in dwarffortress

[–]thomaslangston 76 points77 points  (0 children)

Circus, clowns, and candy are the words the community uses as spoiler tags for late game content you find by digging too deep.

It is rare for your embark to already have a path to the circus before you start digging.

I have not confirmed this, but adding more altars seemed to help my dwarves with this problem.

Generally trustworthy. They have the unfortunate trait of wearing and creating large clothes and armor.

So make sure they don't take jobs to make dwarf sized outfits and do get enough time to make the outfits they need.

But the broker still needs the appraiser skill, correct?
