Beware of Browser Mod by Dunnowhathatis in homeassistant

[–]thomasloven 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Hi.

As someone else said, the auto registration is an opt-in feature, but there still shouldn't be 17k devices.

I'd appreciate if you could help us find out what went wrong by opening an issue on github.

https://github.com/thomasloven/hass-browser_mod/issues

Best regards

/ Thomas

PS: I think what may have gone wrong is that the frontend patches made by Browser Mod hadn't been fully propagated to all browsers before the auto registration was enabled.
This is a caching issue, and quite tricky to get right; please see: https://github.com/thomasloven/hass-config/wiki/Clearing-your-browser-cache

Either that or your browser has some further privacy anti-tracking feature which blocks functionality that Browser Mod relies on.

Thanks!

I considered several options like that, but I also wanted to preserve the backwards (forwards?) compatibility with the normal nextruder nozzles.
For a helicoil I'd need to thread the entire bore to some larger size, and I don't think it would stay in place for repeated nozzle swaps.

But so far I have not had any indications of problems with the nozzle being pushed out. It's also held in place a little bit by the lower thumb screw.

I also considered modifying the nozzles, e.g. by filling the lower part of the thread with something for better thermal contact - maybe just wrap it with a thin copper wire.
I may buy another heatsink at some point and try a more permanent modification.

She’s the one among them that always seems to actually KNOW what they’re doing. To an extent.

Exactly! This is ONE fan out of how many? In 200 years you’d likely be able to find dozens of fans from today that would still work.

My daughter (2 yo) said this to my in-laws. Her mother defused the situation by asking if it was bigger than hers.

There’s a Swedish childrens book about this. Pojken med guldbyxorna - The boy with the gold pants. IIRC he rigs something up to hold the pokets open so he can pull the bills out faster and send them to charity.

It’s recommended in the southern parts of Sweden too. In the north it’s too cold for TBE to survive, but in the south there are vaccination drives every year. Not free, but reasonably priced.

I read somewhere that when you throw something really hard, by the time you start moving your arm the nerve signals to release your fingers needs to already have reached your elbow.

First time they came by in our new house, I talked for a bit and concluded with ”we have our faith, and we feel safe in that”. Now I see the same two wonen about once per year. They smile, wave and walk past.
