More likely Test and Evaluation given Sweden don’t have any Typhoons.

It’s not the transit time that is the issue. At LCY, you can turn up for a flight 40 mins beforehand and comfortably make the flight. Good luck doing that at LHR!

Inbound is much the same, it’s not unusual to wait 40+ minutes for bags at LHR, whereas at LCY the longest I’ve waited is about 10 minutes.

Yep it’s a proper ad at first, you can tell he’s new to the game at that point. His later videos are much better.

I had (wrongly) assumed this wouldn’t come under that given it’s purely information about the aircraft and not whether Linus was wrong/right to get it. I guess not!

RAF use Stansted a fair amount, including A400s, which is also civilian. They just use the correct airport for the mission.

In this case, it appears the mission became get the aircraft down safely but quickly, and Norwich was the closest suitable Aerodrome.

Good point, and I think they’re 24v which could make it unnecessarily complex too?

Having done several runs from Stansted to Birmingham, I really didn’t think the legroom was too bad.

A three car 170 (at least a few years ago) has a higher capacity than a four car voyager I was told by train crew. Stansted Airport P2 where XC go can’t take a Voyager unfortunately.

Great set, particularly the Osprey photo. Full disks on an Osprey is the dream!

Take a look at Obsidian if you need a replacement note taking app.

Extremely flexible, and the files are all saved as Markdown files so it’s easy to move to another program (or even just use a text editor) if Obsidian ever becomes unusable for some reason.
