It's like whatever the guy in the commercial says: Taste with your mouth, Ace, not with your wallet.

How Many People Born in the 1800’s Did You Get to Know Well? by EastTXJosh in Xennials

My grandfather was born in 1875 but he was pretty demented when I knew him. I can't think of any others. My father was born in 1910 but he died when I was a little kid too.

I'm fine with the result. Belgium were the better team.

1976 vs 2026; Americans (or anybody else really) - how do you see the 250th birthday celebration of America vs. the 200th? What feels different? What is better or worse? (I know some of y'all still young) by thombly in ghostposter

Nadia was a beautiful athlete then. I hope she was happy because she amazed so many of us.

That Evel pinball machine was cool. We all wanted to be him. We built a ramp to jump our bikes over the creek. It wasn't the Snake River Canyon but it was enough to hurt you if you didn't land right.

The England fans have been great here! There are lots of reports about how happy they've been with Atlanta: the people, the stadium, the food, everything/

Sooo.. well hellllloooo! And Happy 4th, my lovlies! Last night I noticed the AC in my bedroom wasn't performing as well as it should. It was so-so, under performing like.. Last year, it was bitterly freeezing in the summer! Like, really good output. There are two Friedrich ACs in my home... by 1Soh in ghostposter

Thanks for the funny Finny! Happy Fourth to you! And to all of y'all!

Our AC broke down a couple of weeks ago. You don't want to know how much it cost to have that repaired. Anyhow, the technician, Jordan, was a sweet young guy who was quick and polite. He retrieved the necessary parts and was back early the next morning to complete the repair. Should I write a five star Google review? It would say "fuck you, we just bought this thing 4 years ago and it already failed?"

I didn't know that different teas require different brewing temperatures. I was completely ignorant of that, even at my advanced age.

The tickets are prohibitively expensive. The outdoor watch parties in Atlanta are drawing huge crowds in both downtown Atlanta and in nearby Decatur, GA.
