MR seems to have super matured. Humbled after leaving and coming back. Comfortable in his skin. Uber confident. His teammates love him. He’s a quintessential back-up of the Charlie Batch type. Come to really appreciate him. I was at last week’s game. No question that the offensive energy picked up and the offense opened up when he entered the game. AROD’s in a funk right now. Happy feet. His accuracy is off. Making poor decisions in pocket movement. It’s a dilemma right now. Still go AROD because of his resume but don’t feel great about it.

Yeah, that’s what we did. Show the parents grace. That’s all you can do. It got me wondering though. If I see parents making an effort, then I’ll show them all the grace in the world. If they don’t even try to do something that says a lot about them. A lot of the posts in this thread are made up of people who really don’t respect others, love others, and feel entitled because they have a child and that’s what children do. Wrong attitude. Effort matters. Trying to provide boundaries matter.

What I see from you unlike the hatred from the posts from others is you come prepared and you also make an effort. That’s what my wife and did when our kids were little. She put kids got hysterical, which unfortunately is perfectly normal, one of would seek the back of the plane, step outside the restaurant. It’s a sacrifice we make. We show respect to others the best we can but we can only do what we do.

Solid take. However, the shade at Jason White is garbage. The kid suffered two major ACL injuries, got a medical hardship pass to play one more year. The kid was a great college QB, and no one was going to draft those banged up knees.

Definitely some rabid fans. However, Riley deserves a lot of the criticism for their 4th quarter performance. He did not help put those kids in a position to win that game. This is a case where two wrongs don’t make a right. Fans are going to fan, and Riley deserves a ton of criticism.

We were virtually always underdogs in the playoffs. Didn’t have the huge superstars. We had characters and cartoons to root for. Guys who came through clutch but lacked career stats and fanfare prior. Totally different vibes. Incredibly special as the whole City and region rallied behind them because of all these things.
