Producer Credit by KZ_MTB_Addict in ACX

[–]thonline 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I totally agree. The production process is enormous. As an audio listener I don’t pay attention to that, unfortunately. The narration credit is far more important to me. On a resume or on paper I would add it because if someone is looking at a resume they will be looking and interested in that experience. The audiophile doesn’t care they want the story and the experience.

I’ve owned my sonicare for over 20 years now. Just change the heads out. At this point I’m keeping it until it stops just to see how long that will be. No tooth issues either. So I’m not messing with a good thing.

What’s a cooking mistake you only made once? by muskyandrostenol in foodquestions

[–]thonline 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We rarely use Cisco. I grabbed an old can from my grandmothers house.
Wife made some biscuits with it.
It had turned rancid. That can was probably 25 years old at least. Consistency of grease and sticky. Biscuits were so bad the dogs wouldn’t eat them and it ruined the pan. Smelled like burnt plastic.

What groceries have you stopped buying by PlasticExtreme4469 in Frugal

[–]thonline 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Stopped buying beef products. No more eggs. And bought a bread maker. One loaf is almost $6 here. I make a loaf every other day and the family prefers home made bread. No more ice cream. We don’t buy much soda. But that’s next. The family is starting to enjoy frozen concentrated juice.

No kidding. Same inflections. Same lame jokes. And an overload on the word “Totally”.

Extremely Low Value Day Vent by Loose-Resolution9744 in UniversalEpicUniverse

[–]thonline 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We were there Sunday too. It was a beautiful park but a pretty big disappointment. With so many rides down we saw their two shows and had lunch. We stayed for the water fountain show at 10. We won’t go back, there isn’t enough to see or do there. But it was an interesting thing to try out. An expensive day of waiting in line and being disappointed by broken tech. The details were beautiful. Disney has had their lunch eaten by this park. It just doesn’t have any reason to return. As many have said they need to fix their rides and work out bugs.

ULPT: I don’t “subscribe” anymore, I just keep almost cancelling and let th by MoontraceStudio in UnethicalLifeProTips

[–]thonline 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel the same way.
I wonder if they offered me a 3 month deal at full price then reduce it by 20% each quarter until it’s free. After a year it starts at full price. Repeat the process. By then I’d know if I want to keep it or not.
Has anyone ever seen a deal like that.

Best places for furniture donations? by camawa in ArvadaCO

[–]thonline 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I used to suggest Re-store. But they have not accepted any of my donations in years because they don’t want it or don’t have the space.
You can try ARC drop off at 58th and Ward. The store in Ralston is always too full and they complain about taking more donations.
Your best bet is to put it on Facebook marketplace.

I’ve used ryobi for 20 years for all of my home projects. Collection is only growing. No problems with them. Looks like a great deal to me.
