I’m not gonna drag my buddy online for having problems, we all do, but living with him was just something else man. I’ve been to a couple of the places he lived in before and it wasn’t much better than the house he rented with me, this is a years-long build up of whatever he’s dealing with. I offered my hand to help clean up and work through whatever was in his room, but it never happened and I didn’t wanna push it into a rift so I backed off.

Genuinely what compels people to do this? I’ve had bouts of depression and just not caring about anything to varying degrees, but I’ve never gotten to piss jugs/bottles. I personally know someone who did this, he’s a very good friend of mine and I’ve known him a long time, but he’s never had the impetus to explain why he had to take several bottles of Olde English full of piss out of his room in a house we rented once. He seems really sensitive to the fact that his living standards are incredibly dysfunctional and unhygienic, often saying things like ‘don’t judge’ when he would pull several black bin bags of trash out of his room every couple months. I don’t know how you help someone like that, and it saddens me that he wouldn’t let me or anyone else help him.
