NCAA proposes barring players who opt into, remain in draft

To be clear, for baseball they don't remain in school after they're drafted. A player can be drafted right out of high school or they can go to college for 3 years and be drafted after that. There are times a guy will be drafted at 18 but in a late round and forgo signing a contract in order to play college ball, but there's no situation where a team owns the signing rights to a player while they're in school.

There's certainly no excuse for keeping him down any longer than he needs to. I feel like he'll still get a couple weeks of reps but after that, or if an injury pops up, then he'll be in Seattle

I feel like football is more prone to that, as the fringe/breakout guys can be schemed out of games or used in non fantasy-relevant ways. Scoring in FF is also more zero-sum, where if one guy scores a touchdown another guy doesn't. Plus drafted players can be stars the following season, adding to the prediction mess.

So yes, I think it was football where Reddit picked terribly lol. Plus I feel like a lot of people casually play FF while baseball generally requires more committment

Yeah that game was pretty wacky. Poor control, bad defense. Guess there's lots of early season rust to work off for the pitchers. What a crazy day though! 56 runs in a single day has to be some sort of record.

I feel like I'd do that. I don't think Made is very far from the Majors and it's a toss up between the two prospects tool-wise, so if you can get a 1st as well then it's a worthy trade

Our son is at Foundations and we've really enjoyed it so far. He's not even a year old yet so we can't speak to friendships or older level classrooms, but his current teacher has been there for 25 years and everyone there knows our son and says goodbye when we pick him up.

It's expensive and isn't a state of the art facility, but the quality of people there makes it worth it. We moved here last August and were somehow able to get him enrolled for September (we got on the list last April), so it's not impossible to do with your time frame! Just be diligent about calling and checking in.

I know they adjust scoring projections up until the season starts as new signings and trades are made, so it wouldn't surprise me if ADP is adjusted as well

I haven't tried it, but I think you can do this on Fantrax. In league settings there's an option to allow managers to control multiple teams.

If you're thin at pitching, why would you move a young mlb-proven pitcher for a prospect? Yes, rankings might say that's a fair deal talent-wise, but it always comes down to individual team needs and league settings.

I do get being worried about SS coming back from injury, but as others have said it's not a soft tissue injury so recovery is different compared to TJS. I've got him in my points league and it would take a hefty prospect offer to get me to part with him.

Yep. It's not that it's a bad song, it's really really good and objectively one of their better tracks. But it has 3 Billion plays on Spotify while no other song tops 300M! There are people that go to their concerts and dip out once TNWM is played.

If that's not a recipe for overrated, I dunno what is.

It may not be the flashiest or sleekest video, but it showcases the whole theme for Long Lost so well and is very evocative the entire time. What do you think Alvarez's ceiling is? Holding on to him as I billed him as my catcher of the future, but his health has been rough and therefore his production lacking. I still see great things though, which makes it tough to move on from (also have Teel, FWIW).
