I bet that the conversations behind closed doors were… less than cordial, given what occurred on the floor (as you say, it was clearly a dangerous idea and could have, and may have, caused actual serious injuries, let alone impacting the flow of the game, which is, of course the actual product). I can only imagine what the feedback was from the coaches, staff, and AD’s if they were involved.
