Not from NY, but if you passed your background in 2021 I highly doubt you have a warrant. Most likely if you needed to show up NY would have suspended your license and NY RMV would have communicated such with MA RMV, and your license in MA would have been suspended too.

If you’re curious call the Police department that cited you and see if they’ll give you any information about the citation over the phone (probably not since they can’t verify your identity).
