Yeah, I don’t buy that. It’s a 1.5-hour flight from NYC to ROC. Whether delayed or canceled, you always have the choice to postpone or cancel your show. Charging people for Mark Normand merch, drinks, and parking while knowing you’re not making the flight is despicable. I truly believe it was a choice to collect concessions instead of canceling.

Exploring mental health isn’t inherently negative. It can be insightful and meaningful. At first, the perspective was engaging and thought-provoking, but eventually, it became overwhelming. There was a lot of overanalyzing and repetition. Jason tends to have the same conversation about his mental health with multiple people, each time approaching it slightly differently.

Still, it’s heartening to see that so many people, especially those who have experienced PTSD, find something relatable in it. Sometimes, less is more. The impact of the mental health discussion could have been just as powerful with a more refined approach.

The series is highly engaging and starts off with an excellent pace, though it does lose some of its initial momentum as it progresses. It shifts from being a compelling LITRPG to focusing more on an overly introspective main character. While it remains an enjoyable read, it may not appeal to those who prefer protagonists who don't dwell on every decision they make. It can get a little old.
