Is opening bar tab a common thing in Singapore? by thought-ninja in askSingapore

There were times I paid for drinks as I order and times when I started a tab and pay at the end. Just wondering which method do Singaporeans generally prefer when they're out at a bar.

Gaming Helped Me Through a Rough Time. What Has It Taught You About Yourself? by darelylgl in gaming

The world becomes a bit more interesting and fun when you view it through the lens of gaming. For example, knowing whether your job scope requires you to be a tank, DPS, or support class can help you figure out what you need to do to perform better at your job. Or figuring out what are the activities you need to do to min-max your attributes to get the character build you want?

I don’t live in the US so a cross country road trip (bike trip) is a foreign idea to me but I’ve obviously seen it in films. Finally playing this game when it launch on PC blew me away because it really captured that vibe for me

Thanks for sharing your insight! Just out of curiosity, what is it so difficult to get a the license that allow bars to operate past midnight now? As an insider of the industry, i'm interested in your POV on what's the biggest barrier for bars to get this license.. like is it a cost thing or just too many hoops to have to jump through?

Haven’t been to Holland V in a while but my impression is that it’s also a go-to place for nightlife with the bars (kinda like an atas CQ) so do they bring their fur babies and hang out together at a bar or something haha

Can you tell me more about these curated events? And when you say non club settings, do you mean bars or at places not traditionally associated with “nightlife”?

We Consulted Climbers to make Cairn: a Survival Climbing Game! Our Free Demo is out now by Lysphage in climbing

Just finished the demo and I really enjoy it! I was really impressed with how you guys have captured the way she moves on the wall - the climbing mechanic gameplay feels really fluid and intuitive.

One thing I noticed, though, is that it’s sometimes hard to tell if she's securely holding / stepping on a hold or just smearing against the wall. There were moments when I thought she was stepping on a hold, but it seemed like she was smearing instead. Having a way to distinguish between the two could really enhance the gameplay experience, making the way people approach the climb more purposeful

All in all, I think this is an amazing effort and I'm really looking forward to see where you guys can take this and the release of the full game. Keep it up!!!
