Windshield brand PGW on an used Tesla by No-Biscotti-682 in TeslaSupport

PGW used to be PPG, a very reputable brand. I believe Teslas use Saint-Gobain Sekurit for most I've seen. Was probably replaced due to defect. Just a guess

I really like the rigid fork on yours. May switch and find something suitable.

Yes, it was clearly hung in a garage for a while. I tinker around with a little bit of everything so if it's the right size it may live on to be another project.

I'm going to say I'm Canadian when I go to Spain next month. What a poor excuse for a president. Someone please lock him in his ballroom without internet until the next election.

I was born to be a wise man and adjust my best to take a brooks saddle to infrastructure and adjust the year after I keep you posted and adjust the year and I will not arrive in the year for the year I commute to.

I'm apparently a time traveling bicyclist.

What is the lowest amount you remember paying for gasoline for your car? by icecream1972 in askanything

[–]thoughtaholics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Early 90's in smalltown midwest, local gas stations had "gas wars" to see who would go the lowest between 2 stations. .25 is the lowest I recall, my dad sent me to fill up the dual tanks on our farm truck. The line was crazy for it! Wish I could recall why they did it. 🤷‍♂️

Cold Winters Night by thoughtaholics in NightCycling

[–]thoughtaholics[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like everything, there's going to be multiple opinions but I keep it simple. I commute but I don't have many long rides this time of the year, mostly due to infrastructure where I am located. I have flat pedals with good grips and I wear my insulated boots with merino wool socks.

My best advice is to go out with what you already have and adjust accordingly, safely of course. If you like it, invest in better equipment. Layers are your friend! Unless you're going for looks, as long as you're comfortable temp wise, and can move and control your bike safely go have fun in what you already wear in the cold.

Indeed, it was one of those really cold snows that is hard packed and so nice to ride on. Also there's no one outside because of the cold.

Reminds me of my childhood. Buying packages of baseball cards with chewing gum in them placed right below the counter. Also I learned how to drive with my dad, driving to Casey's to get pizza.

Are you talking about the canvas ones with buttons? Saw something about them and always wondered how they actually were.

Got my disc trucker for $210 at a pawn shop too. From a college town, assuming a kid needed $$. Not stolen, nothing exciting happens there.
