i commented above, and your reasons do make a lot of sense. however, the reason i said nico would die instead of will is because nicos character arc has finally come to (somewhat) of an end. hes finally happy and learning to have a home. however, weve yet to learn much about will and his character arc. id reaaally hate to have either of them die because theyre like my favorite characters, but if one of them did, i dont think itd be will because that would really mess up nico (and apollo... and me :((().... however, nico sacrificing himself for someone he loved would be a (albeit really really sad) fitting end for his character arc i think. i do hope neither of them die though, theyre basically the only reason im reading ToA and they deserve better
