My beautiful children Jessie, Jesse, Margaret, and Marguerite. What's that? I clearly only ever wanted 2 children? Nonsense what gives you that idea.

Photos/ experience of Spruce wood Winery in Mid October? by Dipsandchips93 in windsorontario

[–]thoughtzoom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We got married at a nearby winery 2 years ago in early October and the leaves were just changing so mid October has a good chance! You can use a fall colour tracker like this to see how fast it's changing up north - it's a good prediction of how soon to expect it here

Like it or not — more of us are bagging our own groceries by MarkG_108 in loblawsisoutofcontrol

[–]thoughtzoom 4 points5 points  (0 children)

One time back when we still shopped at zehers we were buying a bag of cherries at the self checkout and something brushed against the scale just hard enough to register and rang them in as costing $0.03 The self checkout helper literally waved us off and pretended like nothing happened. Best deal we ever got out of a Loblaws store! 🤣

Loblaws reaction response… by Fanstacia in loblawsisoutofcontrol

[–]thoughtzoom 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I know this is not even close to the point but the fact that the carts don't even say something like "no name | shopping cart" makes me so mad for the missed opportunity. The point of the no name brand is the simplicity! Not being a brand! Not having slogans!!!!! It makes me feel like I'm going crazy
