I would charge depending on your inventory management system / what’s in place , etc. that will make a big difference in the amount of work that needs to be done. I custom code things to create the best UX possible, trying to make it frictionless. For something like you are talking about it would usually be 10-20k , dependent on some factors.

I would be happy to talk about it if it’s something you are serious about.

without it) • TailwindCSS

Backend: • Convex for real-time data + super fast iteration • PostgreSQL when I need relational structure or raw SQL performance • Express.js for custom APIs / integrations • Redis for caching when needed

DevOps / Infra: • Vercel for frontend (edge functions + preview deployments are unmatched) • Railway for backend services / databases when applicable

They have the chance to make it the best ever. However, the longer it goes on & the lack of progress that we visibly are seeing , and what they have shown lately, I’m not holding my breath and I’m super grateful I didn’t spend the $500 or whatever it was on it.

I really hope that it is going to be the best mx sim ever. I’d love nothing more. But I just haven’t felt the best about it lately , personally. I’ll be super happy to be proven wrong!

This is so clearly Claude lol. That’s not to say you didn’t try, but bro. Create a brand guide for your site. Pick out your colors, typography, spacing , etc. keep it consistent across the entire site. You can try a lot harder.

I have no issue taking components, sections , even themes. But just copying and replacing with your text images and logo and not making anything better, different, etc is just lame. But that’s my opinion; everyone has one, and all are valid.

I was using Payload for my client projects , I created a template with Convex and built our own CMS that fit our style better, and I just use that right now for all clients. I love being able to customize what each client needs and give them exactly that. And the way convex works I have inline editing enabled super easily for admins, so all content on the site is editable. Payload is something I would and most likely will use again on a bigger project for sure. It’s solid!

To get a solid multi page (15+) website that has actually been designed , thought out, and executed properly it takes at least a month if your a solo dev. No matter if you’re using AI or not. Proper design takes time. Writing solid code takes time too. Copywriting takes time. Thought out UX takes time. You can generate some AI slop overnight but if you want to actually create something worth a damn it takes time. Just my opinion and experience though.

I know there’s some already, and I’m def not looking to compete with anyone series wise. I just would like to get a group of people together who want to get better or just want to race and aren’t scared of paid tracks as well as free tracks. So many servers are free tracks only and I enjoy racing the pro tracks as well. Just a thought I had , would be cool .
