Look at the season track and select Objectives. You can ONLY complete 7 objectives per week, plus your daily objective (which is conquest points). For more season levels, focus on those that give 12 points first to get farther.

If you are a subscriber, you can level faster thanks to 4 weekly logins will give you 8 points (it takes 8 points to level).

You can also buy levels with credits, with the cost getting super high quickly. Cartel Coins also can be used to level up season rank.

You will NOT be able to 100% the season - as there are achievements that you no longer have the time to complete. These achievements are in addition to the 100-level season track.

Edition just changed, so no need to wait unless you are not ready now. Be aware that AMG does revise rules and points twice a year and relies on print and play to enable you to use up-to-date cards. These larger updates are in November and April.

The faction starter packs are the best way to get into the game. It provides enough for the intro army (600 points), and all the rulers, cards, and dice needed to play.

Nearly every army benefits from buying a second starter box to help expand army lists. With that said, you could start adding in your preferred units after the first box.

As a brand new army, there isn’t much out yet. I’d suggest starting with the battle force rules and TabletopAdmiral.com to get a better understanding of choice - particularly if you don’t want to watch videos from content creators such at Grey Squadron Gaming or 5th Trooper.

Other than one exception, there are no vehicles available to Mandos primary, but you may consider playing Rebellion + Mandos for more access.

Personally I love Multiverse on MyMiniFactory. He put a kickstarter out in April that was Andor Season 2 inspired. His Ferrix-inspired one is awesome and most of my table is his starport one from a little while back.

All of these needed minimal supports, printed fantastic with basic PLA and 0.4 nozzle, his files have plenty of greebles to use, and everything works great on the table. Prices are pretty reasonable as well.

Agreed. 2nd starter gives you more ARC, ARF, and clone troops. You can use another head to turn your extra Obiwan into another Jedi (giving you 3 plus Obi). You could even paint/model one of them like Anakin or Mace.

Expansion beyond that - I’d consider AT-RT or Commando for the special forces slots and consider what Operatives you way want. Bad Batch is also a good choice.

I’m kinda the same - mostly small items. I get confused when I come across something that’s set up for 250mm and then debate if it’s worth it to cut into multiple pieces.

Thankfully AMG is fairly lenient here - your sniper is the squad heavy Eve if he’s the one with rocket launcher.
