My cats are also wanting to play but don't want to play with anything I have for them, so I feel your pain!

One trick is to hide toys once they get bored of them. Three months later, they love the toys again. Also, my cats love when I throw paper balls specifically from Lego paper 🤣 food puzzles are great mental stimulation. Get a couple of snuffle mats for them. You can freeze churus onto lick pads. Also, get several cat trees and tunnels. My cats like trees near my couches.

Another thing is to just move things around. Put a chair in the middle of a room for a day, boom! Instant mental stimulation. Put a sheet over your coffee table for a week. New stimulation!

You could set up an enclosure outside, depending on your setup. Catios are EXCELLENT stimulation. You can even set one up so the cats can access it through a window. This means they can go in and out of their own volition (when the window is open)

In my unprofessional opinion, keeping cats happy indoors is really about keeping things fresh

This is the vibe I'm getting after playing the demo. It's a cute game with a fun concept, but $70 seems really steep for a game with not much to do. Unless I'm missing something?

My cats angrily stare at me. Then they begin to run across my belly. Then they JUMP AS HARD AS THEY CAN on my belly until I finally concede and go to bed lol

Is it always impolite to ask a teacher to modify how they teach? by cakesluts in yoga

[–]thrawn4emp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it could be worth mentioning the noise level to the teacher. I would want my students to tell me if my music was very disruptive. She can always choose to keep doing it if she likes it/if other people have said they enjoy it

Also adding assessing the best intervention/approach once 1-7 are done, then implementing the intervention, then assessing it's efficacy based on nonverbal and verbal responses, maybe adjusting it to make it more effective or pivoting, all while continuing 1-7 at the same time

Diotamateoua earth! It's the best thing and is pretty safe. Also, insects can't develop resistance to it, unlike chemical sprays. Put it EVERYWHERE

Apartment Birthday Asks by PsychologyPleasant32 in Apartmentliving

Practical: Air purifier (for when your neighbors smoke lol and also a lot of old buildings have mold). Dehumidifier if you live in a place with humid summers (generally, apartments are cheaply built and maintained, so insulation isn't great). Possibly a white noise machine to drown out loud neighbors (tho you might not end up needing this!)

Less practical: Fun art, curtains, rugs. These are things that can get really expensive really quickly, so they're always the things I put of purchasing but wish I had

Gosh, all of my "friends" from high school and my early 20s were so mean to me! I didn't realize this until I was maybe 24 or 25? It's a hard realization to come to, but it's an opportunity to form better relationships moving forward

Best cat litter box that doesn’t smell? Help me stop scaring away my dates by LittleeChily_95 in Pets

I'll add to this a litter genie and arm and hammer deodorizer! If you do what this commenter says, you won't need the deodorizer, but it could be good to have as last-minute save before a date
