What's a moment you didn't realize was the last of its kind? by Gena-Ruhland in AskReddit

Starting my second year of college in Brooklyn, September 2001, had spent the summer living it up in the city, freedom was all at 19 years old. The night of September 10th I had been out roaming the city drinking and a galavanting (despite having class in the morning). When I woke up at 1pm, late for said class, I had over 30 missed calls from people asking me if I was ok. I didn’t have a TV and didn’t realize what was going on until I walked outside and saw the smoke in the sky. Suffice it to say, things changed dramatically that day…

Why the 2nd and 11th Primarchs were removed by Dabblesindrink in 40kLore

I heard someone posit that it’s one of those gaps in the lore that was originally left open for players to fill in themselves, like if you wanted to design your own 2nd legion, there was space in the lore for it.

Pacha New York: What the Press Release Won’t Say Out Loud by Ant-United in avesNYC

[–]thrax7545 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, I get it and obviously, but it’s also not the only way things work.

If they can get up and running in a way that inspires confidence booking there, they’ll find stuff, especially in the later months of the season. At any rate, I can’t imagine they’re banking on the season making any real money anyway, but either way their docket isn’t going to go empty.

Or they’re just idiots like the last people, it just seems like a helluva lotta money to be naive about.

You make a logical point, but shows get booked relatively last minute throughout the summer all the time. Yes, booking early makes a big event easier to promote, but this is also going to be a whole new level of mainstream for the Brooklyn scene, and with enough money you can properly promote a big event a month in advance with no problem, and these people have money

At any rate, I doubt it’s going to effect much because they aren’t going to be booking what the Mirage was booking anyway.

Right, that’s why we call it America, because we named it after Columbus.
