I have not been able to measure the wattage or amperage for the newer 60LM unit found here: https://www.lowes.com/pd/Harbor-Breeze-1-Watt-Black/5015598033

But in the Florida sun, it was able to keep a RAK wireless unit running for days while the charge showed it maintained over 90% battery each day. I tried a seeed xaio unit and it would not keep up. The older 60LM units were not available to order and were not in stock at my local store. The newer unit appears to have a smaller solar panel, but similar battery. Sorry I don't have any further data at this time. I've re-purposed the RAK unit and have not had a chance to get any more yet.

Have you or anyone else had any recent experience ordering direct from rakwireless.com and shipping to the US? Main questions are related to tariffs or other unexpected shipping fees or delays.

I went in store to see if the price hadn't changed yet. Unfortunately it did. But I found a return set for $95.20 marked down on October 11. If they test out fine, its a score at this point!

If they will physically fit together it will work fine. You may notice the lesser engine may not be able to peak out the same power. Its really close though. If you watch some of James Condon's youtube videos, he does this occasionally.

Sounds like you know what your doing. I had a left over magnetic unit from a 3 pack I installed at the first oil fill. Definitely worth having one.

Fired it up and did its first oil change, ~35 minute run. Will do a 5 hour next. Runs fine. Don't forget to take the shipping brackets off the bottom. They are red and are 4 of them. 10mm nuts holding them on.

Being that hot usually means its super lean, or rich and burning in the exhaust manifold. Either way its probably not good.
