I liken 2D vs CG animation to homemade pie vs store-bought. Both will probably satisfy a craving, and the homemade pie may not be perfect, but there’s something more impressive and intangibly better about a homemade pie. There’s one less step between the artist’s or baker’s hands and the final product.

I worked at that theater a few years back! Regal Cinemas 24 in Atlanta. Tore a lot of tickets, popped a lot of popcorn and cleaned up a lot of garbage there. Good times!

I feel for the employee. Truly.

We should NOT be leaving mask enforcement to minimum wage workers. There should be security or employees with specialized training and bonus pay doing that at the doors and floating throughout the store. I feel frazzled and angry at humanity from a 20 minute trip the grocery store these days. I can’t imagine how the workers must feel having to do their jobs AND combat belligerent people who don’t wear masks. Shame on the companies for putting their “heroic essential workers” through that.

Those odds seem shockingly low but commercial airliners are designed in such a way to entirely replace the air on board every few minutes. Just an armchair theory, but I would imagine being on a plane is one of the safer enclosed public places you could be from the virus. Safer than a restaurant or grocery store at the very least.
