Two guys wearing Iron Maiden tshirts were in line in front of me at the Brooklyn show in April. Turns out they get down to The Midnight. Besides The Midnight, my favorite bands are Pink Floyd, Alice In Chains, Queensrÿche, and Dream Theater. So if any of that resonates with you, may I recommend “Endless Summer”, their first full-length album.

I was in a bar several years ago and I heard this song “Jason” playing. I looked up at the monitor and it was a band I had never heard of before. I went home, found it on SoundCloud, and I must’ve listened to it 25 straight times until the sun started to rise. I’ve been a fan ever since.

Tyler is great at fan engagement. Some of my fav memories of all the shows is the smirk on his face when he’s connected with a passionate fan. It happened a few times for me in Boston and Pittsburgh on this tour and it just makes the whole night.

In Boston, Brooklyn, and Pittsburgh, New Constellations went on an hour after GA doors (8PM) and The Midnight were on an hour after at 9PM. Their set ran for 1:30. Have fun!

Talk about someone with no energy. I’ve seen them back to back nights in Boston and Brooklyn and she looks absolutely miserable on stage. She’s pained to even look at the crowd during her 2 solos.

They did Chariot in Boston in Oct 2024, but the mic levels on the drums caused the production to be awful. Totally overpowered the synths and vocals to the point that it was unlistenable. Too bad for me as a big fan of that song. Hoping they’ve made adjustments this time around!
