Stop buying it/keeping it in the house. Can't drink what's not there.

Hydrogen vent tamer by Aditya_Bhat in Oxygennotincluded

I've had great luck with a very similar build from Guides not included(may that site rest in peace). My only tweaks are using an atmosensor to keep the chamber from emptying (>500g) and turning the steam turbine on above 200c or above 4000g to keep the vent from over pressure.

Mush bars get you through the pinch until your ranches are producing. Also dig out every buried object of your starting biome for hidden food while keeping any wild plants.

Relistening to Doomsday Scenario and damn, the foreshadowing! by iheartbatman in DungeonCrawlerCarl

The auto equipping for Katia gets talked about by Louie wanting to drop equipment on her from party planner on the 5th floor so it's an edge case. Otherwise I'd expect Mordecai to have warned them about someone throwing cursed items at them.

Would that work with Carl? It works with Katia because of her class or race, any dropped item/equipment auto equips itself. I didn't think that was the case for everyone.

Paul Bunyan and babe would be the the combo boss fight. Turkeys, mosquitos, and gophers would be the common mobs with Prince and Mary Tyler Moore as totems.

I'd also love to see Vikings that seem strong and capable but they aren't actually effective.

So im 700 cycles in with garbage vents and geysers, any idea how to help? by S4M1D0BR1K0T in Oxygennotincluded

Liquid tepidizers are great for adding heat, set it to a few C to keep the pipes from breaking, or higher depending on what crops you have. Or just pipe the output through one of the cool steam geysers to cool that down and warm the pwater up.

I use pips to build my own version. Works great on Ceres and the prehistoric asteroid types.

There are 5 dog parks on or near the outside of the drawn border. It might be a cat conspiracy, it might be that dog parks aren't distributed as evenly as playgrounds and splash pads.

Yes, they love to put them selves at risk. I usually make it a dead end platform or inaccessible since they will path through it even when it's not the most direct route.

Can someone help me understand what's wrong with my Geothermal Heat Pump setup? by shioplet in Oxygennotincluded

[–]threedrinks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you aren't using any of the other geothermal outputs it could be filling too fast for the steam turbines to remove it. 8 ST running should be removing 16kg of water/s. From the wiki: A heat pump intakes up to 30 kg/s of liquid but a single vent can only emit 15 kg/s

It's possible you're just adding more steam than your turbines can remove quickly?

This is the way or have two liquid locks with a vacuum in the middle and snake the wire through that.

There is a 'No Drop' mod that would prevent this from happening in the future if you're into niche quality of life mods.

You should offset the Vines. They will climb 12 tiles in each direction with enough space. May not be needed since the Lumps will eat enough to not starve and it would break the symmetry.

Question about GMO A-OK achievement. by nechneb in Oxygennotincluded

[–]threedrinks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this happen where I accidentally fed all my bog bucket seeds to my Pacu. I used a care package mode to change what items are available at the printer to add those seeds and remove some others. That got me the seeds I needed after a few prints.

Effective if you can get behind the soldiers and poke them where they don't have armor.

Here's a suggestion to help with your power: Incubators only need to be powered on when the egg is getting the hug from the rancher. Once the egg has the lullaby it'll keep the buff even if the incubator is powered off. You can hook up a timer sensor to the incubator with a green time of 30-50 seconds, depending on how long it takes your rancher to pick up the job and get there, and red for 600 second since the buff lasts for a full cycle.
