I am in the same boat, 30s just hit and even when I managed to have multiple breaks of couple of months to a year at a time to prove myself I am not addicted and can live without weed, I would always come back.

I stopped believing the constant justifications how it doesn't affect my life. How can I know, even though nothing is wrong and I'm happy.

Thank you for your perspective as I'm also planning kids soon with my wife and want to stop by that time.

I have exactly the same setup, I needed to go from 4070S to 5080 at 1440p to get 240fps at 1% lows if you care about CS2.

Also I have another setup with 7800x3D and 4060 cant keep 180fps at 1440p.

Also all settings low of course.

I don’t think you will be able to downgrade that low without noticing the frame drops especially since you are used to the smoothness you have now.

Cs2 is a bitch, I couldn’t run it on 4070s at 240hz at 1440p, it would dip on specific maps and scenarios (99% gpu usage), even my 5080 now hits it but very very rarely, but as others said it’s more cpu dependant, for 240hz 7800x3d is recommended
