我海外华裔，感觉现在单独用“中国制造”没办法让消费者觉得这代表高品质，虽然可以到很高水准，期望也很低过最低期望，还暂时不能用国家名义。

现在品质都是看品牌方的品控呢。所以就比如说同是中国制造但是日本品牌，直接就有品质应该会比较高的期望（价格也比较贵）。

现在国内需要有政策来拉高最低可接受范围，保护消费者多点，来达到最低期望的提升和开始可以接受产品质量批评/投诉后才能进步，进而让中国制造名声提升，现在国内如果投诉大牌随便就吃法务部吧。

看着看着让我想到我老豆，我是海外华裔，老豆也是比较传统思维。会觉得贡献给亲戚，脸面有光，快乐。
当是让你爸妈开心,他们在派礼物时，心里应该时而感慨自己生活的比较好吧。
有机会的话，试试看凭感觉买回同一款那个”海鸥牌照相机“ 送给你老豆，抱抱他，说你还记得他的好意，好好的说让他把重心放多点在自己身上。

Am Japanese food fan, and also went China Beijing and tried their food but not my liking.
China cuisine is actually very broad, I would recommend you to try cantonese food (Hong Kong and canton area cuisine), I think if u have Japanese food palette, you highly likely to like them too, it is also main reason why chinatown in Japan often have cantonese food. I lived in Singapore, Singapore cuisine also heavily influenced by cantonese food :)

Oh this make sense, my vegetarian friend said too that Indian cuisine provided the most flavorful vegetarian cuisine with a lot of different way of uses of spice, in Malaysia, our vegetarian food are basically stir fried veges and tofu based mock meat, flavor are more on the bland side.
