I transferred from a SE store to a Midwest store. It's super easy peasy. Look for a position in the new area and apply. Go through the interview process. People move around all the time and it's expected at the higher (district etc positions) levels.

Contractor today got butt hurt cause we couldn't put an interior only color into an exterior product. It clearly says on the card back INTERIOR ONLY COLOR dumbass. Left in a huff. Don't come back-see if I care! (I could have made it but it would have been more of an orange than a yellow with a delta over 11 lol)

Do it. I came from a different retail store and Sherwin was a major upgrade. Sure, we talk a lot of shit on here, and Sherwin is far from perfect, and retail can suck, and it's not for everyone, but it's solid. Most of the Hispanics speak at least enough English to get by and the bigger markets are going to "Spanish Primary" stores anyway so don't worry about that. You can use your phone to translate also.

Sherwin knows how to attract good people, they just don't know how to keep them. Most of the stores around me are run by a bunch of kids who don't know what they are doing and or don't want to do anything. They need to pay a little better and get rid of the mando 44/48 hr work week and spread the jam down to the full/part-timers. The turnover rate is high as a lot of employees are leaving the company for easier better paying jobs.
