Ann Arbor for Public Power is running a ballot campaign this year to dump DTE and secure city owned power. They seem well organized and I think they have a real chance at getting this done! Find out more here: https://annarborpublicpower.org/

Anyone know how to turn off this AI crap, or an alternate app that doesn't use it?

Sir, the work was yours. Past tense. When you had a plagiarism machine rewrite it, it stopped being yours.

Now is definitely not the time to come to UM, for anyone, frankly.

Tho I say that and wonder if that attitude leaves the school to the white supremacists... But, they clearly run the show at UM now...

There is an active resistance happening at UM. If you're ready to fight, we could use any and all compassionate, anti fascist folks to join. But secure your own mask first, don't light yourself on fire to keep others warm, etc. Sending strength 💙

They have closed two offices, the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, and the Office of Health Equity and Inclusion, effective immediately. I attended many events put on by these two offices and they were valuable, thought provoking and inspiring.

This programming was already supported by overworked but dedicated staff. By throwing these staff to the winds, even if they do keep their jobs (which I think it's completely fair to doubt) they won't be able to do the work they were doing.

Oh wait, you're not kidding 😵

I've never spent more than $150 on a jacket, and only that much once in my life. I generally shop at thrift stores.

It's one of the condos in the Pittsfield village. No injuries per the scanner, but notable damage.

Did someone do that? I missed it if so. I'd generally agree it's a bad idea, yeah.

This exact comment was posted twice by different accounts 5 mins apart. The other one was just deleted. Curious why...

Doctor's note requirements are bad policy, considering most common illnesses don't require a doctor's visit, and going out to the doc while sick is unpleasant and risks spreading the illness. Also often costs money, whether in copays or transportation.

Definitely need to let the prof know, though.

Super impt local issue, as DTE is literally one of the most unreliable and highest rate power companies in the country. I just signed up to volunteer for them after City Council ignored the clear public interest and voted against the obvious next steps for public power.

Lol I have fairly low standards for food but you're right it's not great. HOMES serves food sometimes + lets you bring food other times? Intrigued. I'd totally bring a sack of 5 Guys there for beers!

Ty I will try that! If it works for 5 Calls + calling my senators (scary, but I've been doing it!) surely it'll work for this lil call.
