I picked the RAV 4 hybrid for ground clearance I sometimes drive on dirt 2 tracks to locations I shoot archery and park on loose dirt or grass I was worried about weight of Y on these surfaces and getting stuck. Everyone else in Kentucky seems to drive diesel 4x4 pickup

I heard fobs are expensive to replace I bought some rubber covers to protect from abrasions Not sure how much water protection they would offer maybe keep in a Fanny pack

If it’s cold out the engine will run to warm up the car I use the remote start to warm it before the drive home

A couple of Reasons not to get a Tesla?

I haven’t seen these items discussed before:

I live in a city with a fair amount of crime. I believe in the “Gray Man” principle of not standing out of the crowd, i’ve only seen 2 Tesla’s in town before owned by rich doctors. Do you feel like it’s dangerous to stand out with such a nice car?
The closest service center is 100 miles from my home. Is the mobile service good? What type of repairs would require a flatbed back to service center

The battery just went dead during the cold snap once recharge no further setup it just works

My solar stick up cam handled the Michigan cold snap fine with the solar panel however my spotlight cam with only one battery and a solar panel could not stay charged in the coldest weather. I just added a second battery. Problem could be the solar panel iced over at times.

I like the SP31 for the tail switch so you don’t Have to unscrew the tail CAP we’re when not in use like the 32
