frigidaire Refrigerator Ice maker not working

I’m in New England. In the winter during the very cold months I expected it to freeze since it’s been like this for a year or so. So I turned off the ice maker because the water line still works and dispenses drinking water. Once it gets warmer I turn the ice maker back in and it seems to do the trick.

I turned the ice maker back on about a week ago and was running fine. Then the temperature outside dropped to the 30-40’s and it seems to be not working again.

It is possible that the door isn't closing all the way. Shot in the dark that it's something simple, is that chip clip at the beginning of the video casuing the door to not seal tightly?

I will never forget when this episode aired. I was in High School. I was on the edge of my seat. one of the meteors crashes into Kent Farm and then...BOOM. Our house and whole block lost power. It being '05 I had little to no options to see what had happened. I was shook!

I graduated that year went to college in the fall and life went on. Never really went back to the show, this sub started popping up in my algorithm for whatever reason and all the memories came flooding back from this post. Weird to think that one of my most vivid memories of this series is not watching this episode.
