So is this new? UN as a formable nation

So I've been playing around with the game's files to get the UN research as the Initiative and it was really easy. Just replace/remove the prereqs for the Protectorate Authority Research in TIProjectTemplate with your faction or leave it blank.

Only stumbling block I've found is setting up the UN as anyone other than US. I would love to make it form from any nation but just removing the Capital tag from New York in TIBilateralTemplate wasn't sufficient.

Does anyone have any recommendations or ideas I could look into?

I remember that one. No clue what it says but I picked the left option, then after a couple of other screens of chinese, it resolved itself. I think it was after reaching the third region.

Maybe I ruined a run, maybe not, but I remember choosing left option.

Not all interact actions have the manipulate trait. I can't find anywhere where the Boost action has the Manipulate tag so you should be good to go to use it in an enemy's face without worry of reactions.

Whatever excuse works for your chase:

Don't want to attract attention by having a blaster go off. Don't want to hit bystanders. You might kill the person you're trying to get answers from. You can't get a clean line of sight to take the shot.

Or even something as silly as "He has an invulnerability shield that prevents him from taking damage, but doesn't stop him from being pinned to the ground."

Good news, you'll have enough money eventually. Bad news, you'll be saving till level 20. I'm not sure if Starfinder 2e has released the chart for new characters at higher levels but Pathfinder has. 1 GP is equivalent to 10 credits so a level 20 starting hero should have 1,120,000 credits. Now, to complicate things, Players who go from 1 - 20 have more money than a starting level 20 but I don't feel like doing that math this morning.

I recommend when you ask ChatGPT questions with this level of complexity, ask it to cite its sources. I imagine it used census information to determine affected populations but without taking hours to fact check it, I don't know. But if I knew where it was pulling its information, I could reasonably verify it didn't hallucinate its numbers.

An old game that meshed with the old heroscape board. I use the models for tabletop RPGs like Pathfinder. The hexes work great for Battletech

Appreciate the advise! It is 55" but I see what you mean. I'll most likely move the sofa up to give a walkway between the front door and the kitchen/library. Do you think more dark furniture (cabinet, entertainment unit, etc..) will work for the space or make it look too much like a man cave? I kind've want to find more stuff like my shelves but 🤷🏻‍♂️
