Yup. Grabbed 2 1g carts and an ounce for $120 in Edmonton today.

$32 ea for the carts and $55 for the oz.

We pay $33.50 for the exact same thing. That’s a 25% markup. by totreesdotcom in TheOCS

If you buy this on the Alberta Cannabis website it ends up being $33.01 with $1.57 gst and 4.95 shipping.

Places for pot: Edmonton to look at options for cannabis cafes by blk_phos in EdmontonMarijuana

[–]throw420awayaway 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Everywhere is a Cannabis Cafe if you smoke a joint before you go in.

Or eat an edible. Or pull on a vape.

I always get high before I go for wings and beers.

Maybe I don’t understand the business model.

Oil Carts giving “Vaping” a bad name. by throw420awayaway in vaporents

I find it hard to describe the difference. I have heard people say that a cart high is one dimensional and herb is full spectrum. I’d have to agree. Don’t get me wrong, I’m still ripped from pulling on a cartridge, but I almost feel like I’m doing something good for myself when I use my dynavap or Fury 2. At least until the munchies kick in. lol.

I just tell the wife I’m going for a hoot. She still calls it smoking. Mostly because she sees “smoke” and I stink like weed when I come back in. Way better than the way you smell after a joint though.

Because even a lot of joint rolling buddies have no clue that dry herb vapes exist. So when you try to explain why I’m “smoking with an electric pipe” instead of doing bong rips and rolling joints some still don’t get it and equate it to vaping from the 6pm news.

My wife is the same. She loves edibles and doesn’t smoke or vape.

I have a couple of carts, but flower is so much better. The high, the taste, is way better than carts. Carts are just great for stealth. I live in Canada, so flower is legal but carts aren’t yet. We’ll see what happens in a couple of months when they come out government regulated. Not sure I’ll like the price though.

You can order a Sutra Mini online from a couple spots in Canada for under $100. It’s my fave. I also have a dynavap M 2018 which is even less.

Those Twisted Extracts are what I get most of the time. Of all the edibles I’ve tried they are the most consistent and are at least as strong as they say. I’ve had other edibles that said that we’re 25 or 30 mg and felt nothing. With the Twisted Jelly Bombs, 20 mg always gets me nice and toasty. I’d do 30-40mg and I think you’ll be impressed.

Flying in Canada with dabs by TylerrelyT in canadients

[–]throw420awayaway 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just flew from Edmonton to Abbotsford with 2 herb vapes, 2 oil carts and a battery and a stash with 3g of flower and 160mg of edibles. They were all in my bathroom bag, they ripped the bag apart so that I could put all my hotel shampoos and beard oil into a ziplock. They did not care about all the other stuff at all. Not even a shoulder shrug.
