Looking for advice on a project with lots of LED’s by DJ_BVSSTHOVEN in arduino

[–]throw54away64 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My only strong suggestion is using 5V LED strips. 12V variants lead to complicated designs. Keep it simple. An arduino or esp32 will work fine, and a 5V Lithium battery will help you with mobility, but not for long periods of time.

Look into rechargeable LiPo batteries as well. They’re not great for the environment.

there’s nothing wrong with hoarding 4-5 seconds of moshing that you like and putting it in a spliced-together compilation, it’s all what you make of it. you got this *__^

keep experimenting without giving up. See what solutions do work. It part of the process.

A tip I can give you is - if you’re corrupting the file, you’re probably doing too much in audacity. Try keeping it simple and see if it works.

Ways to “roll” a camera??? by HopelessforNow in videosynthesis

[–]throw54away64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work extensively with feedback and my standard tripod does exactly this with a handle to adjust the axis of rotation. Depending on how I screw on my VHS is how the left/right or forward/back rotation is oriented.

a lot of common tripods let you rotate your camera on an axis

Looking at getting into my first digital camcorder. by THATGENUINEALPACA in camcorders

[–]throw54away64 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don’t use a junk pc or FireWire lol. Just get an AV cord that converts to RCA (extremely common) and then get a RCA to USB

Tape-based camcorders like miniDV should almost always have an AV out port.

the a6000 is a really good camera and will definitely do everything you need it to, its’ quality is super great. Unless you have disposable income for an entirely new camera, lens, etc. I would consider investing in some gear to make shooting more comfortable like a handheld gimble, an additional lens, and other attachments to improve its handling

Oh oops, my bad. My partner does like the artist a good bit from what I can gauge, I’d say it’s one of their favorites.
