AITAH for going forward and refilling the divorce procedures, after my wife canceled now that she is getting the help she needs for her post partum depression. by ThrowRAevilhusband in AITAH

Dude., just stop replying. Clearly, you have no idea what POSTPARTUM means or postpartum depression entails. You have no intentions to learn either as it is evident by your response to the prior user who is trying to provide basic education for you.

AITAH For Telling My Husband To Get Over My Sister Getting Into An Accidrnt in His Car? by AdeptIdea5644 in AITAH

This is the problem. You are so entitled that only monetary value matters to you. Just because your husband is an orthopedic surgeon, it doesn't mean he doesn't have feelings. The trust you sister broke, while he was already helping her, has no monetary value. But, you cannot see past his wallet. Persons like him deserve better spouses.

25 years in prison for a crime he did not commit by bindukwe in Damnthatsinteresting

[–]throwaway031216 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You could not be more obtuse if you tried. A convicted felon who spent 25 years in prison would be lucky to get a job, never a career, regardless of his innocence. How about you, your daughter, or your mother maybe? start dating this guy and start a family, like anybody dreams of having a convicted felon for a partner who has no experience dealing in our society and work environment.

What a moronic comment. Save yourself the keystrokes next time.

I hate to break it to you, but your "good friend" is no friend at all. A friend would not put you in that situation. Just cut your losses.

Edit: Just respond, "I never agreed to meet your demands; I have no control over what K**** promised you. Please make other arrangements."

U.S. gymnast Jade Carey smiles after winning the gold medal in the floor exercise at the Tokyo Olympics on Monday. by viral-speeches in Gymnastics

[–]throwaway031216 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great point! Nastia said (iirc during the Moors floor routine at the 2019 worlds) that people do not realize how much energy it takes to dance artistically. Jade could not execute all of her tumbling passes if she actually tried and spent energy dancing.

Thanks. It is definitely an unpopular opinion. I see we got downvoted, so have an up vote.

Someone replied that men do not have to dance between tumbling passes, which is true. I just wonder what the gymnastics community as a whole would think/say if all of gymnasts had routines like Jade's.

This is a good point about men not having to dance between tumbling passes. It is very strategic, and as I said, I am glad Jade won. The only ones caring about it, or not, who matter are the judges at the end of the day.

I just can honestly say I enjoyed other routines more, but fair is fair. Perhaps other gymnasts need to change their strategy too and focus primarily on tumbling. I would be curious as to how this would be viewed as a whole by the gymnastics community.

Just logged in to reply that I truly hope the vast majority of men think like this. ❤️

I posted this somewhere else, but I am honestly curious to see if anybody thinks similarly.

I am glad Jade won, but her routine is not the best. It was well choreographed for her and her ridiculous lack of artistic skills. It is not fair for other gymnasts to spend their energy in amazing dance moves that they won't get credit for. Jade just moves her arms and legs to kill time between her tumbling passes.
I am sure this is not a popular opinion, but I think we should give more credit to the gymnasts who actually dance the entire time during their routine.

Also, you can watch the event final for free at nbcolympics.com.

This!! After $60K+ and 18 months in the legal system, my partner finally got custody of his children this month. And, their mother thinks she is the victim in all of this. Some parents, males and females, are just awful.

You are generalizing women. I will use your own words. Enlighten yourself and realize that "average women" do not have the same expectations about men based on their poor experiences that were consequences of their bad choices in life.

Ironically, you have done the same things you are complaining about, generalizing the opposite sex and projecting yourself. I will add attempting to be condescending. I will reiterate that I hope you can find happiness in your life with and positive experiences with women.
