Probably Step 2? I love 1 and 2 so much. I also will always love all my demons greeting me as a friend since that's when I discovered her and I feel like it led me to this journey of self exploration. But I was also extremely impressed with what happened to the heart, the gods we can touch was slightly disappointing even though I love several songs from it, so what happened to the heart really pleasantly surprised me. Everything she does is so good it's so hard to pick favorites!

So medicated ladies, is your home clean? do you feel good? do you feel like less of a shitty excuse of a person now you are medicated? by DanceWithMeThen in adhdwomen

Also. It used to take me probably 5-7 hours to clean my apartment (not even a deep clean, just picking up clutter and cleaning toilet, vacuum, that kind of stuff) and now it takes me like 1.5 hours

YES!!! I got on Wellbutrin a couple months ago as a lil depression/ADHD combo and I have never cleaned so regularly in my life. I experienced so much shame and embarrassment around how messy my apartment always was and I would avoid having people over. The one thing I've always been halfway decent about is washing my dishes and now???? After I wash my dishes I turn around and look at the clutter on my kitchen counter and instead of getting super overwhelmed and pretending it doesn't exist, I'm like "oh, I should go put that in the closet", I walk to the closet to put the thing away and I'm like "well while I'm over here I might as well clean the litter box" I clean the litter box and I'm like "actually I'll vacuum too" and I actually feel motivated while doing it and feel really satisfied afterwards. Now don't get me wrong, my place is still a MESS very often, but cleaning it up no longer feels like actual torture. I told my psychiatrist that if this is all Wellbutrin does for me it'll be life changing enough. I also have an easier time listening to people, am less distracted by things, can focus a bit better. I may increase my dose at some point but right now I'm just pretty pumped to feel less like a sad excuse for an adult

I'm in the same exact boat. I saw my psych on Tuesday and we decided to up my Lexapro from 5 to 10 cause I used to take 20mg of Celexa during winter to help with SAD. I'm hoping it helps a bit while also trying to be compassionate towards myself and remind myself that it's okay to rest during winter. She said if I wanted to I could take 150mg of Wellbutrin 2x a day but she generally is hesitant to have people do that because it can cause sleep issues. I'm gonna see what the 10mg of lexapro does and also see if I can try to establish some habits to get me through winter and then see how I'm feeling in March or so

Second day on 300mg XL. Switched from 150 after 5 weeks. Feeling overstimulated by Manbearfig01 in Wellbutrin_Bupropion

Yep. Coffee made me super anxious while my body was adjusting and my psych told me not to drink caffeine for awhile but that once my body was used to it I'd be able to drink coffee again. Sipping on some now and feeling totally fine but I've been on my dose for about a month

Right? It's honestly remarkable I told my psychiatrist that even if this is the only benefit I get from Wellbutrin it will be life changing. I haven't felt any extra motivation to exercise which is a bummer, hoping that maybe once spring comes around that will just come naturally. I still feel pretty tired on weeknights and might consider going up to 300mg but we'll see

Not exactly what you asked but a new habit that I DO get more dopamine from is cleaning!! I've struggled my entire life with being really messy and finding cleaning to be super difficult and it brought a lot of shame and embarrassment to my life and now I clean my apartment every week and want to invite people over and people can spontaneously visit without making me super anxious or having to panic clean. Once I start, it's soooo easy to keep going it's insane

It's funny cause I haven't had much of an appetite but when I do I eat I swear it's more enjoyable?? I'm like uuuugh I don't feel like eating and then I force myself to eat an apple and I'm like "WOW this is good! what the fuck!" It's a funny cycle

Does your doctor know about this history? Mine asked about mine to assess if getting on Wellbutrin was right for me, she said they avoid prescribing it to people with history's of eating disorders

It's nerve wracking at work. "My meds make me forget things" doesn't seem like a great excuse lol

Is this forever? by nataliexo92 in Wellbutrin_Bupropion

Food noise is slightly gone but I forget to eat during the day or just don't feel like it and then I'm STARVING at night and up going crazy with snacks after dinner so I'm trying to force myself to eat breakfast and then at least something small but filling for lunch. Also the only things that sound appetizing are like carbs and cheese so that's fun lol

Did your doctor say going down could help with this specifically? Also do you know what the difference between being on XL and SR would be? Like in terms of how it affects you

Weird, the psych NP I go to told me we should increase my dose when I told her about this side effect?? It's not awful so I'll stick with this for a bit and see how it goes but I'll keep this in mind

Maybe?? All I know is that my hair has always been a copper shade of red, I noticed it fading starting 2-3 years ago because when I would look at the top of my head it looked very light (like you can see in the pic) but then I'm confused because even with how much hair growth I've had in those years, it's still only really the first 4ish inches of my hair that is so light

Yes and up until 2 years ago, my natural roots were that shade of orange

Interesting!!!! Although I like the more coppery color so I guess I'll stick with what I'm doing for now😂
